    They didn't take a QB in 1979, they drafted a punter with the 11th pick?

    They selected one with the first pick in 1981 (a supplemental draft) and Manning in 71

    I concede that I might be missing something.

    Can't teach accuracy. They either have it or they don't.

    Same goes for brains.

    They showed the 3 teams with the longest streak of not selecting a first round QB. The Saints were the longest - 1971. I forgot the other two teams but one of them was 1979..

    I agree that we need WR, TE, and DT. We also need help at edge and safety.
    Ideally I want McDonald to be a 3rd down edge rusher period!
    He can't stop the run. I know, huge waste of 1st round pick but thank Douglas.
    I hope the jets pick ZERO QB an RB the entire draft. Give Travis a shot at 3rd string QB, and we already have 3 RBs.
    "Just" draft OL, DL, WR, TE, LB and S.

    I know Cowboys haven't since Aikman in 1989, that's probably the second longest after Saints/Arch Manning.

    The third team may have been the Vikings?
