Happy we didn’t take Bowers. Sad we didn’t get Odunze. I would rather have had JC Latham but he was obviously gone. Hopefully this kid will be a stud for us for many years. Belichick acting like he likes him, that makes me nervous.
I never really get too emotional with the draft because I don't want to pretend I'm well verse in college players. However this year I feel a bit dejected.
Fashanu! Now if he can convert somoe of those 3rd/4th rounders into a 2nd or a high 3rd, and grab a WR it'll be a good draft.
Smart move and probably the right one, just not the sexy one we all wanted. Getting a franchise LT in a deep T class was the move, I just fell in love with the playmakers. Fashanu is the future. Offseason isn't over friends, don't be shocked if we add a WR in draft, FA or trade.

The Jets screwing with me, as usual. I can’t 100% hate Olu Fashanu, but the Jets are like predictably unpredictable. Just when I think everything is lining up perfectly, someone pops out and yells “Just kidding!!”
For you guys and gals that wanted Odunze or Bowers, I'm truly sorry that you didn't get the guy you wanted. I know how it feels to be frustrated and disappointed. Hopefully, Fasnhanu will be as good or better than advertised and give us as great a career as Brick did. Fashanu may truly save the season when Smith goes down with injury. Hopefully, JD will work a trade up to get a 2nd round pick or an earlier 3rd round pick and grab a great play-making WR. There are some other good TEs in the draft and the Jets could possibly grab one of them in the 4th round.
