Since you asked, this may answer a few of your questions. https://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/pub... be harmful to,with your health care provider. I think serious is relative. Is tourette syndrome really serious? I don't know but I sure would want it.
I know a dozen or more people diagnosed with ADHD. They’re fine. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/ar...text=Findings,may often outweigh the benefits. https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/fda-confirms-adderall-shortage-delays-possible-end-year-rcna52095 41.4 million prescriptions. That’s over a tenth of the US population. You can sign up for a telehealth app today, tell the doctor you’re having a hard time focusing and at the very least get adderall’s little brother concerts.
Ok. Just providing some info. I'm not saying it's serious or not. Maybe you'll have a kid with ADHD someday and you can let us know what your experience is. I don't have a kid with it but my brother has it and it definitely impacted his ability to learn.
Neither of these statements are true, but I'm not really sure why this is even being debated on a football forum. I'm sure that there are plenty of people that read the forum that don't post who know someone who has been negatively affected by ADHD/ADD. This is will keep them from being active.
They’re not? https://www.circlemedical.com/what-we-treat/adhd-symptoms-quiz https://adhdonline.com/ Here’s the ad on a quick search;
How about that? so now we are becoming experts on ailments too, what is serious and what is not, what should be taken lightly and what should not, unrelated completely to Jets football. As if the Jets weakly drama isn't good enough to debate on this forum. Time to move on from this non football topic.
Funny because one of the guys feigning outrage has made fun of both epilepsy and drug addicts in his time here on this forum.
I apologized to you personally for that comment (which you accepted) and I truly regret making it. But you keep on keeping on. And I'm not feigning outrage. I just think it's in poor form. Many people have been negatively affected by ADHD, whether you think it's fake or not.
if you were an asshole you could say something like “maybe (he) will have a kid with a drug addiction someday and can tell us about it” but you aren’t an asshole
I already addressed that. And I do have experience with someone close to me that has a drug addiction. But you keep doing you.
Guys. Too busy with moving things around. Nothing wrong with discussing Zach and his ADHD impacting his performance. But guys this is the game thread. Can we park this for now and focus on the game today. This is the season for us. A loss here will eliminate us from play offs. A win here will renew our hope. All I can think of today is how we win this game. Coming here to read some football insights but nope. Game thread isn't about the game discussion but about ADHD.
Bro I don’t care at all. Nothing people say on the internet hurts me. I shared my story and it’s open for criticism. I was just pointing out that you don’t seem to have boundaries on criticizing ailments. Which is fine but it’s kind of silly that of all things ADHD seems like the limit? Cmon now.
