@Jonathan_Vilma I remember we spoke about it after the Bills game week 1 and we both said how Ulbrich was blitzing the corner on the final drive that Buffalo ended kicking the tying FG on. Yesterday on the final drive they dialed it up again after the first 3 completions by Russ. I legit thought they were just going to sit in that soft zone and let him pick us apart. Ended up working this time with Quincy
Yeah man. Kudos to Ulbrich. He made a good amount of adjustments this week and also beyond the first drive when the announcers pointed it out; they moved Sauce around a lot. I’d like to see Quincy off the edge like that more. He was shot out of a cannon.
Watching it live with my Jet fan buddy, after those completions I complained " I'd sure love to see a pass rush again", and like magic - it happened. These things don't usually occur for me while watching this team. It was wonderful.
You'd think they would be. It seems like their kind of city. Bougie, hipster, fake hippie shit, you know?
Now, if only Hackett could find more plays that work in the Red Zone, we'd be ok. Should have blown out the Ponies but we played for FG's instead.
Sloppy game from both teams... but I only care about ours. Too many missed tackles... thank goodness dumbass Payton stopped using that McLaughlin kid in the 2nd half. Too many dumb penalties that killed drives and cost us points on the board. And the nice drive at the end of the 1st half was capped off with stereotypical Jets stupidity.
I feel like the red zone is where hacket should give more roll outs. shorten the field for zach, let him have 2 options and if it's not there just take off. also maybe some more RB direct snaps or options instead of the same off tackle run or half back dive. they make more sense when breece can bust a 70 yarder. from inside the 10 everything is more compact
