    Part of it is the forseeable consequence of 30 years of "everybody gets a trophy" youth sports culture. If you can't celebrate winning, you celebrate scoring. If you can't celebrate scoring, you celebrate a turnover. If you can't celebrate a turnover, you celebrate making a tackle.

    The important takeway is that the goal is celebrating, not winning.
