Had no other choice than give him the blank check. Probably killed Hal that they had to get to 360 b/c SF was already there.

What a bet by Judge man. Only other player I can think of betting on himself and being rewarded in a huge way (which still falls drastically short) was Flacco and that Super Bowl run he had with the Ravens. 130 million dollar poker win. Nicely done.

The back end of this deal is going to be ugly. Judge is 30 with a history of injuries. But if the Yankees can get #28 (and hopefully more) then it will be worth it.

You know, compared to Lindor's deal, it really isn't that bad.

    Me likey.

Still need to balance the order out and probably make a few trades to get some guys out and bring some new faces into the order... But their starting pitching is legit.

Hopefully Boone let's them go further than 5 innings

The Rodon signing is huge. Yankees have a legit starting rotation for the first time in a while. Still lots of rumors that Cashman is working on some mammoth deal. I wonder if he's trying to bring in Ohtani from the Angels. Who knows? Lots of excitement in Yankee Land. Hope they re-sign Benintendi.

I've seen those stories too. Why would would they trade for Tatis when they have two stud shortstops in Volpe and Peraza that will likely join the club next season. Stay tuned. Something big brewing...

I'm not sure that's a match made in heaven. Yankee fans will eviscerate him

That might explain why he sucked last year.

This is amazingly turning out worse than the Sunny Grey trade

Yet somehow. Cashman still has a job.

They did add Carlos Rodon and even with Montas sidelined they have a very good rotation as well as the best power hitter in baseball.

They have two guaranteed outs in their lineup with Hicks in left and Donaldson at third. Cashman's ego prevents him from ever admitting a mistake, which means they will play no matter what.

It's not like he hasn't been trying to get rid of both of them, but I hear you.
