The answer should be go get Ohtani. He fixes your power from the left side and pitches, but I doubt that's going to happen as a trade. I could see them going all in on him during FA, but mortgaging the future? Doesn't seem to be in the cards for this ownership/management. It would probably take Alvarez, Baty, and Ramirez (1, 19 and 85t prospects) He would be an absolute rockstar in Queens with that Asian demographic-- I'm talking Linsanity type hype and I think he knows this. I would look at bringing back Bassitt + Walker, Eovaldi, Tyler Anderson, and maybe someone like Rodon. It's a really good question b/c I totally agree with you about Max. Second year in a row he has looked like ass come the end of the season (Dodgers and then this year).
This doesn’t help keeping who we need to keep, or attracting anyone else https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http...bPyu-F-pKziO1X1-BCATb2tAobj9l4663nDVXOnkF&s=1
Boone is staying. Aaron Boone expected back as Yankees manager in 2023, says owner Hal Steinbrenner - CBSSports.com
Report saying we have re signed rizzo. Gives me a little more hope for keeping judge Edit- 2 years, with a 2025 option
We have too many .230 and under hitters. Eliminating the shift will help, but I hope that we do get a new face or 2 in the everyday lineup
Yanks offer 8 for 300 per Passan. Do you guys think SF goes above and beats it? If SF comes back with 8 for 320, Yanks have got to match. 20m over 8 years is peanuts to them.
(8) Jon Heyman on Twitter: "Giants are in with a big offer to Judge — believed to be $360M neighborhood — but the assumption/belief among rivals is that the Yankees remain favorites. Yankees are hopeful but say they still don’t know." / Twitter
Heyman is such an asshole. Reported Judge to SF then reneged on it about 5 minutes later. What a roller coaster of emotions that must have been. jesus
Judge is staying in the Bronx. (8) Ken Rosenthal on Twitter: "Source confirms: Aaron Judge in agreement with Yankees, nine years, $360M. First: @JonMorosi." / Twitter
I still firmly believe that if the Yankees didn't try to force him to play for his arbitration money to sign a contact extension last year he would have signed. Hal must not like money since he resigned the GM that cost the Yankees an extra 150 million. Again this just my opinion
