It’s absolutely true. And what does it say when they have this lineup, including a 62 home run hitter, and they have to continually shuffle it in desperation to try and get production in the playoffs.
I have to admit that I don’t know how this works at the pro level… but does a hitter go to the plate and react naturally , with just some knowledge of what the pitcher likes to throw, or is there some kind of plan including over analyzing ? I still can’t understand all the strikes they watched go by, and this yearly lack of production in the post season . I have to wonder if there is some kind of coaching problem.

It's deeper than just Boone. Some stat nerd is going to have to do this for me because I suck at math, but Cashman has to have the worst possible ROI in terms of resources versus results in the history of sports. The amount of shitty contracts he's given out and the lack of championships he's been able to accumulate despite the deepest pockets is really damning.

    But, yeah. Boone is turrible.

Well I was hoping for a Subway World Series but how hard is that to make happen?

The NY Teams have to figure out how to get better

The San Diego and Houston markets are smaller ..but obviously paid the right Coaches and Players smh

I agree that Cashman is the most responsible but that prick isn't going anywhere.

As a Yankees fan I am ready for the sweep.

I hope this finally puts the nail in the coffin to this disaster of a tenure from Cashman and Boone. Pathetic team building and we lost a whole youth rise this past few years.

I dont want them to fuck up the next wave of kids.

The right manager and front office can make anything work almost. The Yankees has gotten in over their head and have settled for getting beat by Red Sox and Astros again in the playoffs. Oh and the Ray's.

    Pathetic

That’s what I’m rooting for tonight. Would be better if the lose at home, hear it from the home crowd.

Wasn’t my intention. Was just sharing the info since everyone else was ragging on them. Absolutely insane drop off for tickets. Would be fucking fuming if I paid face for those tickets just to have them for avail for $25

Need a real vet manager, I am not sure if it's the right move but Don Mattingly is a name I would not be opposed to

I’d go for that. Really want cashman gone though . I think I read during the season , that regardless of outcome , both Boone and cashman will be back.

Hey it happens. What were game 3 tickets selling for in the Padres series? Can you imagine paying that kind of money to see that result? It happens. And I'm not trolling, but using a recent example.

No yankee has been able to hit in the post season for years. It’s been the same problem every year.

I laughed out loud looking at the lineup tonight, basically right back to game 2 but with IKF in. Truly lost
