The better we play, the more calls we'll get.

Great! The Jets get their biggest win in years and we get the illustrated version of "My (shitting) dog's better than your (shitting) dog."

I looked through every play you cited a number of times, on a large screen with stop action and cannot agree with you on any of the plays you claim should have been penalties. I'm not sure if you just watched the video or also listened to the audio; in at least two plays you had issues with there was no whistle until after the part you take issue with. You can't have a personal foul for piling on if the whistle has not sounded. You really can't be looking for penalties for what you believe is "intent" when no contact is made; there are already far too many penalty calls that should never have been made.

The early play where Wilson sidearmed the ball away and immediately got blasted was a perfect defensive play. In stop action you can see that when the ball leaves Wilson's hand the defender is a yard and a half away from him and his right foot is in the air; when his foot hits the ground he is already making contact with Wilson. That is not a foul and the laws of physics would have to be suspended to avoid contact. The refs got it right. The roll out at the end actually could have been called on Wilson because he lowered his head (the announcers even mentioned it) when he got to the first defender and was still on his feet when the second guy got there. Another very good "no call."

The two calls where you say the receiver should have made the almost impossible catches would have required extrahuman efforts from guys just a few inches taller and just a little bit faster.

Someone might want to put out a Missing Persons report on @snamsnoops, haven't seen anything from him since the game ended

The shot on Zach at the end of the game was 10000% a penalty by rule and it's been called for far less egregious hits.

I know how it goes. I don’t bother responding after a few tries but it’s always fun at the beginning.

Love these breakdown videos. You have to marvel at the precision and design of these plays as defenders fall into place to block and open up running lanes. So impressive.

No it was borderline and probably the right no call. As much as I griped at the time, Wilson was a runner on the play and QBs get smashed all the time when they run the ball like that. The QB on the other sideline for example every week.

Then you consider it would've been a referees call ending the game and not the players that play it, swallowing the whistle for a borderline play was the right thing to do.

Now if he was in the pocket or just threw the ball away and they hit him like that, different story for sure

What about the shot by Zach in that play? He lowered his head and made helmet to helmet contact with the first guy to wrap him up who was coming in at or below his shoulder? Judgement calls are not going to satisfy those who want the impossible (like 10000% of anything when only 100% exists). So the penalties would only have offset anyway. Let's just chalk it up as a difference of opinions.

Refs definitely shoulda thrown a flag on Huff's strip sack late in the game. No way Huff had to bend Allen's arm back, almost breaking it off at the elbow. Totally unnecessary roughness. Should have been a 15 yard, 1st down, Huff ejected. SMH

    Right???

if that’s true then the call on Mosley the prior week on a QB who was RUNNING and lunging forward for a first down should also NOT have been called. That was a total BS call
