Absolutely ridiculous blowing of the game by the Patsies - they try a lateral with time running out in a tie game, and the lateral goes to the Raider player who returns it for a touchdown.
That was the craziest ending of the game I’ve ever seen. They tried to lateral play and they threw it to Oakland and they ran it back to the house
Chandler Jones has been waiting to do that to Belichik since 2016. And don't think when Belichik watches that play that he doesn't know who beat him.
I think Romo is right that once Jakobi Meyers had the ball lateraled to him, his brain shut off, and he somehow thought that they were losing and had to keep the play going. It shows you how much of what these guys do is instinct from constant repetition, as opposed to careful thought and preparation. Patriots end with games against Bengals, Dolphins, and Bills, so it's hard to imagine they'll win out; if they lose 1 of those games and the Jets win out, they're in the playoffs. Not that I'm actually suggesting that the Jets will win out ...
That loss is way worse than the Jets today, but if we had 6 Superbowls in the last 20 I guess I could live with it.

I’ve seen that play before back in the 1980s the Bears tried a lateral and TB intercepted and took it to the house. That game was already long decided though….not a walk-off wow.
Just watching the recaps - I’ve never seen a guy who throws the ball harder than Justin Herbert. The guy throws absolute lasers.
