Yeah man. A lot of Jets fans are interested to make that trip. Will take care of flight and hotel first and than bargain hunt for the ticket.
Were they drunk when they made that schedule? Why have us play the entire AFC north in a row like that
I haven't been to a game in a few years, and there's something about that place that's just special. I mean it's not state of the art obviously, but they've done a ton of upgrades in the last 15 years. Sent from my SM-F926U using Tapatalk
The schedule being released didn't suddenly make it harder. It doesn't make a difference when you play the better teams because there are pros and cons either way. Would we like to lose to Jacksonville or Chicago because our young team hadn't gelled yet? Might as well work on gelling against teams were underdogs to so when we play weaker teams were ready. Or - if we are an up and coming team every game should be winnable. Its still 17th toughest schedule in the NFL going into the season. Cant wait for opening day.
Yep! Plus every schedule looks difficult when you have won 6 games in 2 seasons. It's on the Jets to make the games more competitive and I think Joe Douglas did a great job improving the roster. Now the coaches and the players need to step up!
Totally agree. The nerve of them to schedule other NFL teams on OUR schedule. Every year there are bad teams that improve as the season wears on, and there are good teams that somehow find turmoil and collapse. It's all about the timing, which is impossible to know in advance. And we have not even brought up injuries which play a huge factor. Some of the fan reactions to the schedule are amusing, as if we were scheduled three or four games within one week.
My expectations for game one is to have Mosley and the entire defense make a statement against CJs former team Not saying we win but stopping Lamar Jackson or containing the scoring is a win for me I have no clue how many points this new offense can score People complain about the schedule cause the Jets have been scrubs for a decade and therefore we should be catered to...well forget about that lol
Agree with the bold especially. Yes, it's a tough schedule, but mostly because we haven't put a competitive team out on the field for over a decade. We need to see how truly competitive this team is, and that means playing against playoff-caliber teams. We'll see how close to - or far from - a playoff-caliber team this is this year.
To your point, when you are a bad team all schedules look difficult. If it looks difficult year after year we need to look no further than our own incompetence versus the opposition. All I hope for is a healthy squad this year to prove themselves. Start making a statement for a change.
