Hot take: if Carter is out and this defense is going to force the offense to throw nonstop… I’m fine with Flacco starting til further notice. Not my preference, but I’d be fine with it. Moore is a stud. Force feed him the ball. Stop taking him off the field. So is Carter but we can’t have nice things.
Haha, yup ... in what should have been an obvious sign, I became a Jets fan the day they lost to the Bears in December 1985.
At least this wasn't as bad of a loss. Seriously. I'm not happy about a loss, but there were bright spots and they were competitive. These young guys need this playing time. Good to see Quincy Williams playing over Jarad Davis
Zach needs to play. Flacco looked like his feet where stuck on mud. Hopefully Zach's time off helped him. He needs to play.
Agreed, Zach needs to play. The biggest thing is just figuring out if he's the guy.. and I think everyone can agree even if he is he needs game action to improve on some things. The only game I didn't want him returning for his first game back was the bills game. You throw a rookie QB fresh off missing some games with a knee injury against the number one defense.. youre basically signing up to destroy his confidence.
all the rooks are struggling... doesnt matter who we chose, we'd struggle... generational TLaw my arse
Great article by Michael Nania highlighting the good game that LDT had in place of GVR in spite of PFF's giving LDT a horrible grade. I always have felt that PFF was full of it. This proves it. https://jetsxfactor.com/2021/11/26/laurent-duvernay-tardif-jets-debut-film/
Yeah I tried to focus on LDT as many times as I could when I watched the game and every single time I zoned in on him it looked like he handled his guy cleanly. I felt like things were significantly more stable in that area with him in there rather than GVR.
That proves nothing. Nania is a fanboy who is entitled to his own subjective opinion but that is certainly no better than the objective critique provided by PFF that you and he decry.
Dude. What? Is this serious? You spent all off-season posting PFF nonsense as if it was the holy grail of football analysis.
I think that Michael Nania guy posts here, or at least on a Jets forum. Feels like his articles are in direct response to discussions on this board sometimes.
