I wouldn't take anything less than a 3rd round pick for him. With his potentially being just a one-year rental, no one would offer that, and probably wouldn't anyway, even if he still had 2 years left on his deal, but he's a very realiable slot WR and he's worth more to the Jets in security for Zach and depth that a 4th or 5th round pick. The new team could potentially sign him to an extension.
I wonder as well. It is completely pure speculation but Salehs comments a few days ago made it sound like a new TE was in the works. Adding in the Crowder situation and it might be the missing piece that makes everything make sense. But, without anything more concrete it seems like we are just playing guessing games. But, what else do we have to do over the next 9 days?
What do I know? I never would have expected a 4 for Herndon. I usually underestimate. In fact, I am still trying to get over the fact that we got a player and a 6th round pick for Brooks Bollinger.
I was far too busy shuttling through the VHS to the parts Lacy Underall was in to pay attention to Bill Murray. Thats what you get for being a horny teenager in the mid 80s I guess.
The same here. I don't know how teams value those things either, and JD may never get a 3rd for Crowder, but imo a 4th or 5th doesn't help us that much. . I was just making the point that I think that Crowder has more value to the Jets as a safety net for Zach, especially because our TE corps is so shaky. Also, the more viable targets Zach has, the harder it will be for defenses to stop the Jets' offense. That was my point.
Ignoring the silly title of this article there are some actual really good observations of Wilson and be warned this is a very optimistic rosy Wilson is doing great article. I know that might offend some so be warned. It is that time of year when everything is positive. But regardless it is better to see this than reading he is doing poorly. https://www.ganggreennation.com/2021/9/2/22647235/will-he-or-wont-he
