We always have a way of making the other team’s back up QBs look like they are headed for the hall of fame...how many times have we seen it? On the other hand, we also always have a way of putting out our back up QBs who shit the bed and can’t complete a pass...Rick Mirer, Bryce Petty, etc so there’s that...

The Broncos have exactly what a 3rd string QB needs... very good TE in Fant, excellent change of pace edge breaker in Lindsay and a versatile back in Gordon who will likely have 75 yds rushing and 75 yds receiving against the Jets D. I don't think you'll see too many receptions by WR's other than Jeudy. If you look at their games this year, Denver has played against 3 arguably top 10 defenses. Denver had a lead on Tenn in the 4th qtr and lost on a late FG, they were in the Pitt game down 3 pts until mid way through the 4th qtr even with Driskel taking over for Lock. They were never really in the Tampa game. The jets D is no where near as good as either of those 3 teams so even with a 3rd string QB I give Denver the edge in this game.
Here is my half-full take, hoping we lose this game, despite Denver being more depleted than us: 1) They still have a lot of weapons (Jeudy, Hamler, Patrick, Fant, Gordon, Lindsey, Jake Butt) that's a lot of respectable talent to have to account for. We don't have a great defnese. 2) Rypien is a four year starter in highschool and college, super smart and great intangibles, he was respectable last week and motivated to will be motivated to take advantage of his shot. 3) It's still a Fangio/Donatell defense, they have a premier pass rusher (Chubb) and Harris at safety.....there defense hasn't been bad. 4) We have been their weakest competition thus far, their first 3 opponents are all playoff teams. So, for those if us wanting to burn this thing down, we have a chance to lose this game.
Only the Jets would be dumb enough to make a black alternate and call it Stealth Black instead of Jet Black.
I thought the Jets could beat the Bills. I thought the Jets could beat the 49ers. I thought the Jets could beat the Colts. And now I am pretty sure the Jets will win tomorrow night. So........ (0-4) then?
I was in the ballpark for score in the first 2 games. I really do not see the Jets winning this one. Against a much worse opponent than last 2 weeks it will be closer, Broncos 27 Jets 9 (missed XP not 3 FGs)
