Guys on NFL network on Sirius love our draft.

OT from Charlotte was team MVP which is saying a lot with that 20 sack DE on the team.

Yep I saw that. He has slid further and further every week ....he’ll be a good pick after the fourth round. But geez this guy was a first rounder six months ago.

I’m fine with that...QBs in the middle-late rounds are the biggest unknowns

I want someone that has an NFL arm and can become a competent back up. That guy isn't on the roster. From what I saw he has a big arm, smart kid. A guy like that can fill in when needed. I'd rather take a chance on a guy like him than hand the job to Fales. Fromm has a noodle arm and has character issues... that's not flying with JD. Besides is a 4th round pick, no one expects a starter here and depth at QB is way more important than any other position. This team isn't going anywhere this year regardless so why not bring in a kid to sit, watch and learn?

    Holy crap.

I guess he does... how that I'm watching some stuff on him.

I wonder if we pissed off NE and took their little replace Brady plan on them.

Part of me is thinking like Broadway Sam though. These guys look good but I just wonder if WR/CB help would have been more appropriate for "right now"

Also 1 think to point out, teams get more players with the extra game so we will be carrying extra OL on the roster

This is what’s most important. We need to come away from every draft with at least a few offensive lineman. Everything else (after the first two rounds) is just talent and projects. You don’t fill holes with dudes in the 4th round. They’re not plugging in these players to be starters. So you go with your scouting.

I'm not complaining about the pick as much as the philosophy of trading back to collect lottery tickets....I prefer taking the better players in the first few rounds trading up if you have to.

I posted my views in writing here and now. If I am wrong you can tell me so later. I have been very vocal about my views every year and would like to think my track record isn't half bad.

Typical. You wouldn't have even said anything if it was that inconsequential to you. Gonna repeat, I do enjoy your posts when it's not so full of self-importance. And you're funny, sometimes, too. A shame.

Yeah I'm reading that New England was really high on this kid.

Like I said, would’ve preferred others but I’m also not a professional scout. I’ll just hope that JD and co know what they’re doing.

Did most of us forget about Siemian and Falk already? That train wreck is why you draft a QB with upside in the 4th.

Given the selections we made in round four, trading one of these picks for Fournette or Williams might have been a good idea in return retrospect.

    A good grade from CBS

    Cameron Clark OL, CHARLO
    Height: 6-5, Weight: 308

Clark is a masher who plays with freaky torque and will displace people in the run game. Finishes in pass protection too. Probably not athletic enough for offensive tackle. Could be a punishing guard. Love the emphasis on the offensive line for New York. (Chris Trapasso)
