Officials once again screw the Saints. They sack Goff and cause a fumble that they recover and return for a touchdown, but the officials rule it an incomplete pass. It gets overturned, but they lose the touchdown. It's Officiating 101 that you always let a play go if there is any chance of a turnover, since it can always be overturned, yet they screw it up anyway. Donald back in the game.
Refs blow yet another call, calling a clear fumble/TD return an incomplete pass and blowing it dead instead of swallowing their whistles and letting it play out, which is what I thought they were trained to do a fucking decade ago.
And the Saints go for it on fourth down and don't get it, completing the screwing over of the Saints. Teddy averaging less than 5 yards per attempt.
I highly doubt that. Playing Rosen would be the fastest way to tank, especially with that line. At least Fitz is capable of some magic and inspiring teammates once in awhile. Rosen would be a sitting duck.
Was Eli benched? Didn’t see the 4th q but he was terrible rest of game. Hoping Brees injury not bad.
Steelers and Saints join the back up QB group (for now). Something tells me they won't give up on their seasons. Also is it too much to ask for Brady to get one of these flukely injuries?? I'm not wishing a broken leg on the guy but he just gets to stand back there all day nobody can hit his hand or knock him around or something!!?!
Brees out for the rest of the game. Edit: that's what the Saints announced, but Brees just came out with helmet on and no bandage on his hand. Edit 2: there is a bandage on his hand, but they're back to calling his return questionable.
Damn I wanted Rosen over darnold and I still believe but what a start to that guys career.. not even his fault
Where is the Rams offense that was scoring at will last year, that went toe-to-toe with Mahomes and won? zzzzzZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz
