To be clear, I don't think Garrett is trying to lose - or that he is a bad coach. Just that what Jones did to Garrett puts a dark cloud over the locker room. IMO if they don't win the division now it would be Jones' fault as much as Garretts.

    I can see this happening:
Cowboys win the division by default.
Cowboys win their wild card game at home.
Cowboys lose their divisional game at Seattle, San Fran, or New Orleans by 1 score.
Jones decides to keep Garrett because they fought hard and made it farther than anyone expected when the playoffs started.

I don't see it... Cowboys win their division then have to play Seattle or San Fran.... no chance they win the wild card. Whoever winsbthe NFC east is doomed. Seattle or San Fran will destroy anyone from that division... I mean any given Sunday but....

Philly won the SB in 2017.

I think that experience would make them a very dangerous opponent for anyone in round 1.

Can a 1,000 years old Witten be considered a offensive 'weapon' in 2019? Come on now.

Who would win/lose a footrace for slowest offensive player in the NFL Witten or Bell? LOL

Tavon Austin is a JAG. I don't consider Cooper a top #1 wr like OBJ or Jones he's a second tier #1 guy IMO.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Beasley on the Bills in week 1. Letting him go was a big mistake for Dallas.

Dallas has a elite o-line, Zeke is elite, they have some other good parts but I don't see all this elite talent one would expect to see from a team that was as hyped up as Dallas was this year.

Cleveland has much more elite talent and could be considered a bigger disappointment than this Dallas team. JMO

Except you isolated a bunch of players that no one framed as any sort of talent on the Cowboys and made it seem like that's who was being propped up.

Cooper/Gallup/Cobb is a top receiving corp in this league. Witten has sucked this year, but he's still a good blocker. He's the fourth option though and fifth if you count Zeke. Tavon Austin probably plays 20% of the offensive snaps.

So you're telling me Dallas is in the hole they're in because of Cole Beasley leaving and Tavon Austin as the #4 receiver?

That's a weak argument at best.

I love watching the pre-game shows and all of the excuses made for Tom Brady to the point where Cordarrelle Patterson and his 20 catches and 240 yards were grouped in as a huge loss for the Patriots this year.

The Patriots just aren't as good this year. And Brady is struggling to elevate everyone else on the offense. They have an easy schedule and they get every tough game at home (Cowboys, Steelers, Chiefs) except the Ravens for once.

There's like absolute hysteria among these guys that Brady is losing it even though it's slowly and he's still good.

    It's so annoying.

Bad tackling and the Saints go up 7 on the Niners.

Lamar Jackson goes over 1000 yards rushing. Forty more yards and he breaks Vick's NFL record.

Brees 3 TDs in 15 minutes against the 49ers.

I hope they go to the Super Bowl, New England dodged them the last two years due to a miracle play and the refs. The Saints time may finally be now.

I don't see Seattle or New Orleans losing at home in the divisional round, so Seahawks vs Saints will be pretty fun to watch. I guess the wildcard is the Green Bay Packers, but Rodgers just never seems to show up in the playoffs consistently to make me believe that they can win in Seattle.

I'm rooting for the Bills to win the division, if they both end up tied at 12-4, does Buffalo get it? I would love to see New England drop to the wild card at 12-4.

Texans follow up beating the Patriots with a complete stinker in the first half against the Broncos.

Tunsil with two false starts already too. I believe he moves into the lead in the league with penalties.

I think this Texans franchise and team needs to figure out what they're doing long term with Bill O'Brien. They're the comeback kids and are constantly trailing. They are awful in the first half and routinely come out flat.

Fake punt for Saints results in blatant pass interference on the targeted receiver which isn't called, and Payton doesn't challenge it. Very odd.

Sherman pulls a hammy, Niners leave a receiver wide open on the next play because of miscommunication. Brees throws an easy INT that is not caught, Saints still have a chance.
