Perhaps, but I'm not defending the scouts, rather I said that there's not clear-cut evidence to say that all of the scouts have been awful. I clearly said that they may have been horrible too, but the bottom line is the GM is the one who is responsible. If the scouts are awful, then he should change them, and he did, once. cman was implying that we had the same scouts over a 10-year period and stated that they were clearly awful. I just showed that the former wasn't true. Idzik hired 4 new scouts in 2014 and then Mac fired them plus another scout the following year, as well as all the senior college scouting and personnel people. Mac could have fired them because they were awful, or he could have fired them because they had a different philosophy than he. As you yourself said, the team had better talent when Mangini was the HC and having input into the drafts. The bottom line is that yes, the talent evaluation has been mostly awful regardless of whom the GM has been, whom the director of college scouting has been and whom the scouts were. But where did Bradway and Mangini get their information to make good picks? Some of the scouts had to have been pretty good, as I know that Mangini didn't have time to scout collegiate games.
The offense better sustain drives otherwise the defense will be done by third quarter. Gruden has a good offensive scheme, and they are moving the ball well if not for the drop by WR.
On a perfectly placed tiny window throw....followed by another strike to Anderson......followed by a positive yardage run. bAd meCHanics qB.
Right my streaming service finally remembered I like the NFL and it has been switched on, the price you pay for dodgy streaming lol
Great job by Darnold! Smart with the football (especially on the rollout) and stepped into all his throws. But wait, here comes the review team! Bum bum bum bum
