I'd take the Jets and the over! You have to win your home games if you want to succeed in this league. The Raiders are (1-3) on the road. Not great. However, all of their losses are high quality: Packers, Chiefs, Texans, Vikings. So they seem to win the games they should, which would include Sunday against the Jets. This is the kind of game that Gase needs to win. Hope the Jets find a way. I like the match-up.
Hey, you're doing your part to help secure better draft position for the team. Thanks for taking one for the team!
Rookie Maxx Crosby got AFC Defensive Player for week 11. 5 tackles (3 for a loss), 4 sacks and a forced fumble. Online should probably keep an eye on him. A rookie hasn't gotten 4 sacks in a game since Brian Orakpo did it in 2009. It would be nice if our rookie Dline man made a play or two this week...….
Favorable matchup for the Jets. Raiders have been terrible on the road this season. Long road trip coming cross country. Jets win 31- 24
So a win against the Giants and the Redskins and we’re back in the playoff hunt? This board never ceases to amaze me. That being said, I hope we kick their fucking autumn wind’s asses. Adam Gase doesn’t seem to be going anywhere next year, might as well try to finish the season with a bang.
I think this is the most important game for Gase so far this season. Did the Jets actually get better or did they just beat up on terrible teams? This is a trap game for Oakland, they're only 1 game back of the AFC West and have Kansas City next week. If the Jets stop Jacobs and don't turn the ball over, the Jets will be 4-7.
Maybe it is a trap game for Oakland, but it's also a trap game for us. 3-7 and playing a trap game. Only the Jets.
Gruden's slow developing 1997 style offense against Gregg Williams' attacking defense I like the matchup
He's apart of one of the best run stuffing units in the league. Not sure why he's useless. You're clueless. Also when he lines up as a 3 tech, that's when he's able to let loose what he can do. As it stands, he splits time as the nose tackle with McClendon. So he's essentially just mucking things up and taking on 2 blockers in 3-4 alignments.
This is the ol' Leonard Williams hidden production bullshit argument. Quinnen Williams really hasn't done much. He needs to end up being more than a run stuffer though. With that being said, defensive tackles rarely have a good rookie year. Aaron Donald is an anomaly. They, like wide receivers, usually dominate college because they're bigger, stronger, faster than everyone. And then they get to the NFL and everyone is bigger, stronger, faster. Jarran Reed is a good example of this. Jonathan Allen for the Redskins. Kenny Clark for the Packers. He doesn't have very long to figure it out before this fan base is sick of him though.
