Pretty timid decision making by Marrone - going for the TD is clearly the right thing to do there, unless he truly thinks Bortles is a complete incompetent.
I had such hopes for some pleasure this season - watching the team develop and improve - seems like we got a seasons worth of joy in week 1
Funny to see Sam warming up, throwing north and south down the field. You'd think with the game planning this staff does, he'd be running for his life on the sidelines , dumping it off east and west. Practice how you play. Kidding aside, I don't care if Sam throws a half-dozen interceptions today, this team hasn't stretched the field in any consistent way since Ken O'Brien was throwing to Walker and Toon. You'd think 35 years of failure would be enough to change their philosophy. At least going downfield would be exciting. This is football sewage, and the coaching staff is mostly to blame.
