I'm surprised nobody wants to keep Ellis. It's been noticeable when he's been inactive.

Snacks needs the full tender, we should get a 1st and a 3rd if we lose him.

Ellis and Jarrett need to be brought back.

They don't have that level of RFA tender anymore, they only have 1st, 2nd, and Original Round.

i don't think he's that much better than walls, he's been getting picked on all season

he's a good depth signing, but i wouldn't be confident with him as a starter

This team with new guards, Todd Gurley instead of Chris Johnson, and Revis on another one year prove it deal can make some serious noise in 2015.

I dont think Revis is going to nor needs to sign a "1 year prove it deal". He's going to get paid this off season by somebody. I'd love that to be us.

Austin Davis? Or do you plan in converting Indy's cornerback to our QB?

All of the FA QB's suck balls. I'd guess I'd take Hoyer as the best game/manager type but he's barely been throwing the ball this year - he's overrated right now. We're kind of fucked.

Really annoying when people feel the need to make an entire post just to point out an obvious typo

Agreed. I would take Hoyer, and would rather see Sanchez back over Bradford.

You'd spend a first round pick on a running back?

I meant cornerback, not quarterback. You knew that though, you just needed to put someone down to feel good.

I could see Idzik signing a guy like Bradford. He loves those highly talented players with injury risk, and has shown a willingness to roll the dice on them. Sanchez and the Jets are done, never going to happen. I think, rather I know, if Bradford stays healthy he will be very effective and a huge upgrade over Geno, but that is a big if. I think we will sign a veteran guard this offseason, and let our former draft picks battle for the other spot, can't give up on them just yet. I would love Revis back on our team and I think its exactly what this secondary needs, I just don't know if Woody and Idzik would give it a go. I hope Idzik doesn't have too much pride and can realize what an asset Revis would be on this team and allow for a reunion, I just don't know tho. Of coarse this can all change going forward and I think its a little early to look at free agency and that draft.

He's been playing on a rental contract since he left us so it's possible. With a slight decrease in his play this year he might want a longer deal. four year contract or one year deal we got our best player back and if Dee comes back strong we'd finally have a good secondary again. I hope he's a Jet next year.
Top 5 no. If we're picking in the 10-12 range I'd pull the trigger for a talent like Gurley..that said if a prototype 3-4 pass rusher is there I'd have no problem taking him or best WR available..Amari Cooper in a heartbeat but he should be gone.
I just think if we're rolling with Geno he needs as strong of a running game as possible and it'll only regress if it's the same trio next year because Chris Johnson is done and Ivory will have that many more miles on him.

After the debacle at CB I fully expect Idzik to entertain bringing Revis back. The whole drafting a corner thing isn't working.

Plus, Revis could be a great teacher for our young secondary.

If we're trying to help Geno. It would be OL,WR,OL,WR then 10 needs later another RB. Id rank CB, CB, OLB, FS as big needs also. Even if we don't bring back CJ, Ivory, Powell, and whatever late round RB or FA are just fine.
