Yup I have the same board.

I cant draft for CodeGreen if hes not here by 6 unfortunately since I have the 49ers. Im assuming he'll be back before his time is up though.

I chickened out. Didn't want to start the shtstorm.

The Browns will need to replace two starting guards this year and are going to a zone blocking scheme. They can have Kouandjio and Mitchell Schwartz compete for RT and put the other guy at LG. Kouandjio is the kind of athletic big guy the Browns will need to help protect Manziel and his propensity to run around like a crazy person, as well as improve the run game in the ZBS.

Next to the Jets the Panthers need a WR badly...nice pick.

OBJ is one of my favorite players in this draft.

Pryor, Ford and ODB were the 3 I thought you might be considering. I want ODB on the Jets pretty badly, love his game and his fit for the Jets (and obviously the Panthers as well).

I love all 3 players, just a little too early to draft one with a player of Lewan's ability.

I'm sure the initial reaction of drafting Lewan is "WTF", but when you think of the age of DBrick and the uncertainty of Howard, it's not a lock he resigns, it was the best move with the cards dealt me.

I understand objectively. I probably wouldnt love the pick at first tbh, but its a necessity and Brick's game has gone downhill recently.

    Two hypothetical questions-

    1. If we drafted Lewan after we resigned Howard, how would you configure the OL?

    and

    2. If Lewan was off the board, who would you have gone with between Ford, Pryor and Beckham?

I think those 3 players will see their stock rise by the time the draft is and will be of correct value in may. All 3 are very athletically gifted and are at the 3 biggest positions of need. Will be fun to see how you address the rest of the draft.

    1) I would try Howard at RG and Lewan at RT. Our OT position lacks depth, Jets have been extremely lucky Dbrick has been healthy his entire career.

    2) Pryor....we have other options at WR & OLB later.

  16. These could very well be the 3 we are choosing between on draft day.

Very difficult to choose between as they all have similar value. You have to think ODB has the advantage of also being a KR who has worked w/ our new ST coach. I don't think that can be discounted

The kid from Minny is a beast, would hate to see him end up with the Pats. He reminds me of JJ Watt. I just don't know if he has the heart to play at such a high level. If his head is there he has unreal upside.

God damn Harpua and his board taking my steal at 35! Great value at 31 getting Carr, not sure if they go that direction since they need defense so badly but sometimes things change when players fall in your lap.
