Nah...the cute part is the jealous part. You can spout all you want and I know deep down the attention MSG gets all over the world digs deep into the haters...ala naïve/cute...but Im not confused at all.

Again..for the last time..if it were not for the money...MOST players would die to play 41 games a year in MSG instead oh....Brooklyn? Miami? Oklahoma City?

Again and again..we will disagree..and the out for all that disagree is that the argument that they LOVE to come play there a few times a year...blah blah. Nonsense.

You played in front of crowds...I played in front of crowds for 4 years...give me the Garden any day of the week and that fanbase. Its just a matter of opinion JS. You just don't buy it and I do.

Now..if the question was would I rather play for a championship and more money in bumbfuck, texas? Wheres the contract. If your asking me to play a game in any arena in the world..for real? Its MSG.

Now for John Smith who grew up in Boston? Fenway Park would be his dying wish. If Im the best player in the world? I would love to bring a championship to the place everyone says it cant happen.

Ask Mark Messier his choice of favorite titles of them all...and it was only 1...and he says its not even close.

If you have all the money in the world Falc and you just have to choose the place you play in? Miami? Come on right? Check out the Dolphin games when their team is 0-3. I was a big crowd guy when I played sports. Maybe that's my issue. There was nothing better then playing huge games on your court or baseball field. Nothing better.

Now theres a shitload of pressure too compared to those places and some guys cant handle it or don't want it..but that's part of the glory.

See, I'm from Miami. I was born and raised there. Family is from New York. I can completely understand why someone with a ton of money would want to live there. Amazing cars, amazing beaches, amazing bars and clubs, the women are flawless, Hispanic booty galore, but if I were a pro athlete, I would want no part of that place on a team. I'd probably buy a house or condo there and vacation there, but play for those shit ass fans? No way. I think everything is dawning on Lebron now. I think he is realizing that the "big 3" era in Miami is over and I think he is starting to see the bigger picture with the fan base as well. Is the fan base helping him base his decision? No way in hell, but I can sure as hell guarantee you he hates them.

It's quite sad when you lose a playoff game and the following interview involves questions on fans booing and fans leaving early. That's not something any player should have to go through. If LeBron James wants a place where he plays for fans with pure heart, then Miami ain't the place. It's a beautiful city and amazing for financial and business careers, but sports? No fuckin way. Stay the hell away.

I played college baseball and minor league ball. I used to LOVE playing in front of HUGE fan bases that just loved your team. You don't get that a lot in the minors but you do in college. I can't imagine a pro athlete wants anything less.

Cleveland, New York, Houston, LA, wherever. But stay the fuck away from Miami LeBron. I miss rooting for you big guy!!

That's why Cleveland would be a decent landing place for him...talk about a fanbase that's looking to forgive. Hes a God there..and he has his championships and now its all about somehow getting 1 for them. I agree.

Still, I think in the back of his mind is Riley and him packing his bags in defeat again. That's a real tough one to get over...because if he does leave...I will be in line waiting to kill him...Unless he comes to N.Y. (I don't understand why anyone would not find that humorous).

I wouldn't want to kill him if he left. How could you blame him? The guy is seeking out championships and if that means taking your talents somewhere else, then so be it. This isn't the old NBA where guys stuck with one franchise year after year. This is how sports is today. We see it in all sports. Baseball, football, etc.

Hell, look at Darelle Revis. Only difference was, he was chasing the money. The world doesn't hate him though. He went from New York, to Tampa Bay, to New England, all within three years. The only people that hold a gripe with him are Jets fans and maybe some Tampa Bay fans. Other than that, he is still viewed as one of the best corners to ever live.

Lebron is a smart smart man that knows how to get himself where he needs to be. I don't blame him one bit for leaving that shit hole of Miami, if he does ;)

Yeah..I agree falco but the NFL is different..these guys are kind of forced to bounce around a bit. I just take a lot of pride in what Jordan did..what Ewing did in defeat.

Maybe its me...Im getting too old for this stuff...lol.

That is true. Different types of contracts and cap situations.

What Michael, Magic, Byrd, Ewing, etc. all did, will probably never be repeated again. It's sad, but very true. We live in a completely different era. In my opinion, I can't blame LeBron for leaving Cleveland when he did and I can't blame him if he leaves Miami. I can completely understand why some can though.

I really can understand what he did with Cleveland..I think...but can you imagine what it would have been like for him and that city even if it took 10 years to do...his reputation etc.

I didn't realize you lived in Miami so your getting a more local side of things. Based on what I've read it sounded like Wade was willing to take opt out to take less money. Obviously what hear is a little more in tune with the national media. What about Bosh? Is he going to opt out as well ?

Could imagine if the Cavs gave up the pic for Love and then signed LeBron? They'd be really really good and in the East could be the team to beat.

As far as I'm hearing, Bosh is willing to do anything right now. Why? Because he is expendable. He knows that with a click of a pen, he could be gone. It's a lot different with Wade. Wade will likely retire there and Miami is not looking to get rid of him either. Here's the issue though.

If you are Dwayne Wade and you are due $42 million in the next two seasons when you just came off a year that you sat for half of and were absolutely terrible in the finals, would you opt out and risk getting paid a significant amount lower? If Wade opts out, he's getting NOTHING in comparison to what he is due now. Wade would be a moron to opt out of that contract. He has his 3 rings. He has his legacy in the NBA. Now he wants his money.

The problem with Miami right now is the contracts and the bench. James is gonna command a huge salary. Wade is due $20 million a year for two more years. Bosh is getting paid $20 million, the exact same amount as LeBron. Chalmers is likely gone. Battier is likely retiring. Allen is likely retiring. Birdman just opted out. What roster is there for LeBron? What motive does he have to want to stay there? No bench, an aging Wade, and a shit ass fan base. He played on a team that dogged the living shit out of him, playing him all game every game, had an inconsistent attack from Bosh and Wade, and had no bench.

Miami is in trouble unless Riley can pull some shit out of his ass. The only problem? This year there's not much shit up his ass, leaving very little to pull. I'm curious to see what he does. Melo ain't going to Miami. So who is the big name they need?

Who the fuck wants to play for Dolan? That's why Lebron wants nothing to do with the NYK.

    Bingo!

Piece of shit. I'm hoping Phil Jackson's presence balances that out though.

What I heard was that Miami might come to Wade and offer him 4 years and pay him more over that time then he would make on his remaining contract but he'd get a much smaller amount per year. Any truth to this?

Should be interesting to see, if they win games next season and show promise, I'm sure Dolan will continue to back off and then the Knicks franchise could be revived.

Damn Ira again making it sound like Lebron REALLY wants to go to the Clippers.

    And now this: http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on...ry-choice-still-miami-but-clippers-intriguing

I think this Clippers thing is real but it just does not fit together at all based off the cap. Would the Heat be willing to sign and trade Lebron for someone like Griffin? who knows. Im not going to overlook the Clippers but I just dont understand how they could manage this.

Yes true but hes set to make 40 million over the next 2 years. So if they gave him a 4 year/60 million they would still be overpaying him ALOT and it wouldnt really clear up that much money.

Lebron needs help from the big man, him battling for 10 rebounds a night is really taking a lot out of him. Thats why the Cavs were probably looking so hard at Embiid, the Heat cant really solve that problem. The Rockets have Howard but they have to make moves.

Only 3 teams can currently sign Lebron for a realistic contract:

    Heat
    Cavaliers
    Lakers

Bulls, Rockets, Clippers all need trade partners. Would the Clippers ship away Blake Griffin for next to nothing so they can have money for Lebron? Who knows. Im sure teams would line up to get Griffin if its for just like a draft pick.
