I've heard this too. Problem is, it came from mike's mouth. Who knows what really went down.

I have herd him say this a million times...I highly doubt he was offered anything more then a entry level job same as Belichick gave Mangini and the rest of those guys in Cleveland. He acts like he was offering him the OC job. All it means was he was good friends with Parcells who was hooking him up.

Seriously, would a no nonsense former West Point coach hire a high visability radio talk show host even if it were for nothing more than the position of 'Quality Control' coach, a postion that doesn't call for any actual coaching and whose duties are limited to assembling and breaking down game film?

Ok let's hear Mike go ape shit on the Giants as he would on the Jets. Undisciplined, no shows in a huge game, disgraceful organization, Couglin lost control of the team

Let's hear it Mike. Just like the Idzik rant. Let's see you be fair and rip into this clown organization

I dunno about clown organization but Beckham made a fool out of himself today and should have been benched or kicked out of the game at some point.

Well, now we are going to hear about the gutty, gritty comeback, even if it falls short.

I know it's popular to hate him, but Mike has been very fair on his assessment of both the Giants and Jets this year. On Friday, he was trying to get most Giants fans, coming off of the Miami win, to calm down with their high expectations for the Carolina game. He's trashed their defense all year, and tomorrow should be no different.

And while he's said a number of times that Beckham is one of the best WR talents he's ever seen (hard for anyone to argue, so far), he's constantly been on him about his celebrations, taunts, etc, after big plays. I'd fully expect Mike to DESTROY Beckham tomorrow.

True..... it was an offensive asst position which, depending on your prior experience (if any) can morph into the QB coach, WR coach, OL coach or asst coordinator.

I hate to defend this guy, but this morning he was talking about how bad the Giants defense is.

He also brought at least one delusional Giants' caller back to Earth, asking the guy to tell him what the Giants have to make anyone think they should expect to win today.

They definitely are a clown organization that likes to project themselves as these lordly, holy old guard respectable NY football...meanwhile all you see are disrespectful, petty antics (making Woody Johnsons wife enter the stadium through a loading dock during the game) Coughlins whining and screaming and faux discipline. Idiot JPP blowing his hand off. Enabling Beckham to be a petulant clown. Their time honored forte of defense and ball control is completely down the toilet. The Mara's are snobby pricks

NFL double standard if Beckham goes helmet to helmet cheapshot, no ejection....star players are held to different standards

Totally agree. The refs came off as spineless in my book for not tossing him then.

SUPPOSEDLY a 1-game suspension is rumored but i remain skeptical.
