Anyone else think Fatty is going to shit all over our pick? Just yesterday he was raving about Williams but he'll find a way to spin the pick against the Jets.

"YOU HAVE 3 ELITE DEFENSIVE LINEMAN ALREADY! WHY WOULD YOU WASTE A PICK ON SOMEONE WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE A STARTING SPOT FOR HIM! THEY HAVE NO MORE TRADE LEVERAGE NOW WITH WILKERSON SINCE EVERYONE KNOWS YOU'RE DESPERATE TO TRADE HIM NOW!"

...and so on and so forth until he is drooling diet coke spittle.

he'll be knobbing on the Giants pick..and questioning the Jets pick.
won't even matter to him that Williams is a waaaaaay better prospect than Flowers

He actually didn't shit on the pick...he said 'the Jets now have adults running the team' and that they knew what to do once a gift fell in their lap. Of course not being able to resist one last veiled shot at Rex/Tanny/Idzik/Woody in the process.

Oh well, those guys are long gone and like my friend the Bills fan said, it's good to see that Jets didn't try to outsmart everyone and do something stupid.

I listened to his draft anaylsis - where during that time or day did he state this? He stated very positive things about the Jets D and the Williams pick. Mike knows his sh&t about NFL football - like it or not.

He's been tremendously complimentary of the Jets since the new regime was put in place.

I tuned him out a couple of years ago, at least.

But, It's quite noticeable how the media as a whole has changed it's manner towards us. It started last year, but has really changed now.

Because the disengenuous fuck wants to get Jet interviews. Here this self-absorbed pig in the largest media market couldn't get a Jet to interview with him---hmmm, wonder why--- and instead of taking a look in the mirror at his non-stop trolling of "all things Jets" as possibly being a major reason he couldn't secure a Jet interview, he instead tried to pawn it off to his listeners as an ESPN vs. WFAN conflict. That by anybody's definition is a weasel.

Case in point: the disrespect Francessa showed Darrelle Revis (for no reason) during an interview following a MNF game: "it was innaference against Mawshill.…ya innaferred witthem, c'mon admit it!!" No fucking professionalism whatsoever and why this remarkable pig deserves squat from the Jets.

I hope your dog dies ya fat fuck.

That is all. Back afta dis…

Anyone else listen to Francesa interviewing Maccagnan? I only heard like the last 20-25 minutes but he didn't seem his usual douchey self like he was with Idzik when he was crying about how the Jets didn't let him in the building.

Yes I heard it and it was very strange hearing him be nice to a Jets guest. The whole interview is on wfan's site and well worth the listen. Mac is very smart yet very personable which makes things easy.

Nothing too particularly interesting, but I did think he was mostly pretty well-spoken and personable in discussing his overall draft plans and how it all played out, occasional rambling aside. He relayed how surprised he was that Williams dropped to them in the draft and did confirm that they were entertaining a few trade offers, but none were strong enough to sway them from picking him.

At the end of the day, it was a decent listen.
