Tracy Porter goes to the Redskins. I really don't want to sign DRC his head just isn't in the game

They may want to address a different position that they feel is a better player for them. They may want to wait and get a WR later in the draft.

    Who knows.

Bills need a WR, Raiders need a WR, Steelers need a WR, Cowboys need a WR.....

We still have a lot of teams ahead who can take Mike Evans.

Yes but I'm not sure how Idzik feels about him. They might only want him on a one year deal for 3-4 million but he might want more security than that. We pretty much said goodbye feeling good that we'd sign Vontae. Didn't work out.

To be fair, they said the exact same thing about Antonio before he got here.

If there's one coach who cant get a Cromartie to play good football it's Rex.

When Cro was cut I thought he was a goner forever, and read that report that some in the FO think he's on the downside even if he overcomes his injuries from last year.

But I can't see any better alternative to bringing him back in FA, and I am a broken record in not wanting to go Cb in the first round. I think if they did that, that would hurt even much more than Revis ending up with the Pats.

Almost as much as if they leave Smith and Simms at the top two in the Qb depth chart. Heh.

Not a fan of Pettigrew too but to be fair Jim Schwartz is a lousy disciplinary coach and really didn't get much out of his players as their head coach. Change of scenery could do wonders for some of those Lion players.

even then his reception skills are exaggerated. His drops arent a concern because he does have the ability to catch the ball and he was Detroit's #1 TE. He wont be that here, Cumberland will and Cumberland will be catching while Pettigrew blocks for Ivory.

It would be a very good signing.

Can Pettigrew block well? If he can, bring him in if the price is right. Then try to add one of the solid corners still on the market (Cr0+DRC!) a guard, and one more receiver and that really sets us up well to go bpa at each pick, whether the best football player sitting there when we pick is an offensive lineman, tight end, receiver, linebacker, corner, or safety.

I love that we have 5 of the top 111 picks in the draft. If we can hit on 3 of those this team rates to be a playoff team. It's a long way off but I feel like if things break right and some guys step up this could be the year we catch the patriots. Brady is getting old.

If you still think Pettigrew is a good blocker I have a bridge to sell you.

They should go after Dominique Rodgers Cromartie. Could be had for a little more than Verner. Say 5y/$32 million or so. PFF's 4th best coverage rating last year. Would play well in Rex's system. I feel like folks have forgotten about him.
