The Seahawks just won a Super Bowl with 5th and 6th round CB's that were both drafted in 2011. It's a myth that you need to prioritize CB if you want to win in the NFL.

Aaron Ross is the only CB drafted in the first round since 2000 to win a Super Bowl with the drafting team while starting at CB.

I forgot our offense was superior to the Pats where he had over 100 catches

Do these numbers for the Patriot include rookie spending money?

Revis to the Pats is a HUGE burn. At least we replaced Howard.

Dude, Revis is awesome. But he can only be at one place on the field at one time. You can draw up a game plan that avoids Revis. It's tough because you have to basically avoid one player (wherever he is lined up) on the field, and he'll take your best receiving threat out of the game. But you can avoid him if you need to. As long as we add more then 1 receiver of quality we will be in good shape.

Right, they add Revis and are weaker. Nice Green goggles.

This was a boneheaded move by the Patriots. Brady counts 14,800,000 on the cap and now Revis counts 12,000,000, and that is too much for a CB, even Revis.

Walls is OK, Wilson is garbage (at least as a starting CB; in the nickel he's servicable).....still, with Revis and the front 7 we have already, our D would have been amazing! ....oh well, still a long way to go I guess and lots of draft picks, the sting of Revis to the Pats is starting to wear off a little

Agreed. Personally I think Woody should consider pulling the Jets from the league.

The Seahawks secondary is amazing. Just because they were late draft picks doesnt change the effect they had on that game and the Seahawks season. I agree you dont need to draft them early but CB is the 2nd most important position on D after a passrusher imo.

We need to start finding late round gems because it's not like all late rounders are gonna turn into Richard Sherman.

Heh this is the same response to someone who said something similar to the person you responded to. The logic is terrible to jump from Revis being in NE to not being worth it to get a WR

We should give the best punter a 3 year 56 million dollar contract and punt whenever we get the ball.
