Verner is a zone corner, as was said earlier in this thread. He would play safety sometimes in the Titans D and the other CB would play man to man. That's why Lovie got him in TB, he plays the Tampa 2 which is all zone.

Hopefully Idzik stays calm and doesn't have a kneejerk reaction to overpay for players.

 

Why is no one talking about Tracy Porter? Dude beasted this season, majorly underrated.

 

Bottom line with Verner is the jets didn't think he was as valuable as we thought or we would've signed him for more money than what he got.

 

Like I said a few pages back. I curbed my enthusiasm I've been a fan of the Jets long enough to be disappointed. So since my expectations were low I'm not upset at all. I'll continue to sit back and see how things play out.

What do guys think about signing DRC or Captain and letting Milliner play into that #1 spot. Im not sure why all the hate for Millner. He played very well the last few games and I was at the game against the Browns and he did a fairly good job on Gordon. I think he can be very good next year with a full offseason and more expierence. Dont fprget he was hurt for training camp last year. Practice makes perfect.

Revis wpoould be real nice tho.

I also think Idzik (who is awesome) believes in his young Oline that he drafted last year. Aboushi was projected higher early in the offseason maybe hes legit.
