tom coughlin's got another tiki barber situation on his hands. Let's see if this one can be fixed. High and tight. High and tight. 26-10 Dallas, XP coming
the 65 Steelers can rest easy, their record of 12 turnovers in a game (actually it's shared with 4 teams but they were the last to do it) is safe.
Was that incomplete? Also, could have Coughlin not called a TO and it would have been an official injury TO automatically?
yes, had he known, I believe Dallas would have been charged but there you have to call timeout immediately unless the rule is different under 2 minutes?
I think under 2 minutes the team is charged, outside 2 minutes it's just an injury TO not charged to anyone. Obviously Coughlin couldn't take a risk, it's autmatic TO but if he saw it for some reason, could have an extra one
Eli leads the Giants comeback for a TD, Tony Romo throws INT while trying to setup DAL in FG range and loses the game. That's probably what the media is rooting for
interesting note (to me). Before that INT, the odds had Dallas as only a slight favorite to win (-145/+125). Market believed in Eli's ballyhooed comeback ability.
I really don't understand why Collinsworth is giving Eli a complete pass on that INT - it was a very poorly thrown pass even if the RB had had his head turned around.
So, is the media going to crucify Coughlin for having Andre Brown in the fourth preseason game and as a result leaving the team in running back disarray? Don't bother replying, we all know the answer to that.
^^ Yeah. I think the Giants are better than what they showed today, but will have a tough game against Denver next week where you probably can't have 2-3 turnovers and expect to win like they have tonight
