CBA or not, Jets are de facto the worst team in the history of NFL, and shouldn't be allowed to take a day off. /media rant off
Okay. Stupid question. Even though CBA says no, can players vote among themselves and approve an extra training if they wanted to ? I know this is a stupid question but please don't attack and answer on a technicality basis.
I believe they can, but they are not advised to. [The reason this day off was instituted was for the safety of the players in the first place.]
Three up, three down from Cimini http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/jets/post/_/id/24683/an-early-evaluation-of-camp Surprisingly positive. You can tell it was harder to come up with the three downs.
This is always my first stop for info...and a laugh. I'm waiting for one side or the other, in the Sanchez thread, to have someone's head explode by game 1.
FWIW a certain Site's Jets podcast was at the first 4 practices & said Coples looks like a monster on the outside. Perhaps Rex's comment of him thinking too much might be the true issue.
Weak sauce!! Our young guys need all the work they can get. I feel like players are more likely to pull muscles or get injured at some point because of less physical preparation in the off season. Hopefully it just means they are going over plays and watching videos.
I never understood why people need to do that. Anyway, has Geno worked with Braylon and Winslow yet? Those are the guys I predict(aside from Hill) that will be Regulars when the Season starts...
I just can't wait until the first preseason game. I feel like we'll get alot more answers from that first game then all of TC combined.
Goodson's absence is worrying me. What looked like a strong group of RBs now looks weak. Ivory is making slow progress , but still is far off being fit
