It's not a bad thing but, we don't have anyone to depend on to carry us in a big moment when your role players have a deer in the headlights look - and they are looking for someone to depend on. So we have to win completely AS a team.

Almost did it in 2010, good all around team.

Exactly! I'm no Sanchez hater by any means...I've come up with every excuse to try to support the guy over the last few years but intangibles you need as a qb Sanchez doesn't have! He panics when pressured, makes terrible decisions and is inaccurate! This guy has been breast fed with so many opportunities to fuck up over and over again yet he still maintains his job as the starter! It's not his fault though! It's Rex Ryan's boy so he feels obligated to stick with Sanchez because god forbid another qb like geno or McElroy outplay or outshine Sanchez then Rex's ego would suffer....

Imagine at our jobs if we keep fucking up over and over and over again, made the same mistakes over and over, but we didn't lose our jobs! And not only that, we are given a pay raise as a result! This is the same situation with Sanchez!

To make matters worse we keep hearing about his play improving and looking sharp at camp but yet in the games no improvement is shown! For anyone that calls me a Sanchez hater please look at the picks he threw against the titans last year!!! What 4th year qb triple pump fakes then throws a floater in the middle of the field in triple coverage!? He has no sense for the game! Period! If geno can be anything but retarded then we will be fine! And us as a fan base need a breath of fresh air after 4 years! We know the case with Sanchez so who really gives a fuck if he goes 7/8 in 7 on 7's for 200 yds and 3 td's! It's what he did against the lions, or any game last year...

My reasons against Sanchez aren't hate, they are factual that he's terrible...but at the end of the day Sanchez can't bench himself, it's Rex's job as a "head" coach to bench Sanchez especially after plays like that interception to ziggy ansah!

I won't even get into what he does off the field because these guys are human and can do what they want but this asshole should not see the field as a starter again, and if he does then definitely not in New York!

Ummm..at least if your going to be stupid, get the stats right.

He scored 32 times, in 2011, 6 of which were on the ground. So he threw 26, against 18 ints.

Its fumbles that killed him, you dont even know what you are talking about  he lost 8 fumbles against 6 rushing TDs.

The 32 scores is why he eaned rhe extension according to Tanny.

Moore comes in, Sanchez scores 32 times, schotty goes bye bye with two years left.

Against St.Louis,Sanchez tossed 75% with no help last hear.

    Friday he went 10/13.

And just so everyone can be clear that you dont know what the fuck you are talking about, i was kind enough to link David Carrs stats.

    http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CarrDa00.htm

Tops put at what 16 tds?

You're the only stupid one here that I see.. keep it up Mr. Sanchez.. What's his career completion %? career TD:INT %? What aspect of the game does he excel at other than coughing up the ball?

That pretty much sounds like a Tebow Pass.

    :rofl2:

Well, ummm he had 26 td passes, but really....6 pf the were runs... Ooh kayy...

    David Carr? David Carr?

    Yeah, Im rhe dumb one.

    So, completion percentage wins games...really?

So, Favre was great, going 22/23 -1.

So Penny was great too managing even or plus 1.

Sanchez, is...and remains the only QB out of Bradford,Favre,Penny,Sanchez to produce 32 scores. And even Bradford barely managed plus 8 last year, because Lankster dropped a pick six.

Samchez was about +6 in 2011.

    In terms of Jets QBs?

How about we start with winning playoff games?

Thank you. When I see a two-word combination like "Plax athleticism," it's like smelling salts for my soul. I close my computer, go outside, and breathe the air. I remember that it's good to be alive, and that my life need not be wasted reading about pre-season football.

    :)

Plaxico Burress, during his stint with the Jets, was absolutely, without question, far and away... the LEAST athletic wide receiver I have EVER seen at the NFL level.

Have a nice August, everyone. Go Jets!

    You're right... good point!

The troubling thing is that everyone knows Tebow isn't a QB and Mark is supposed to be yet they do the same thing..

Let's just get it over with in week one. First series, Revis comes on a corner blitz, and Sanchez just hands it off to to him for a quick TB TD. The crowd roars for Revis, and Sanchez takes a seat on the bench.

Smith starts the second series, and we never look back. Especially after he goes 3-13 the rest of the way and we get to draft Clowney next April (or May, or whenever the NFL network changed the draft to)

Do you think they would pull him out that soon? Or let Sanchez play the whole game and then make the decision going into New England Week 2?

I hope the team has better chemistry than this fan-base.

Please don't turn yet another camp thread into a goddamn Sanchez debate. Haters need to shut the fuck up. Praisers need to shut the fuck up. There's 10 other positions on offense that effect every play, not everything has to be about Sanchez.

Let's not forget about the entire defense, and even special teams for that matter. But apparently Geno and Mark make up the entire 52 man roster.

I'm pretty sure he had 26 TD Passes and 6 Rushing TD's that season for a total of 32 TD's.

EDIT: Didn't realize somebody already pointed this out.
