I'd recommend PMing me as well, I'm usually around and can fill in for any pick when WW isn't here.

Great pick by you Meandean...Hunt has late 1st/early 2nd potential. Maybe HOU goes for a MLB for insurance if Cushing can't recover but that's good value.

Broncos needed a DT in a bad way....we get ourselves a really good player at the spot in Bennie Logan. Checked players selected to make sure he was actually there....he was someone I considered in round 1 so getting him in round 2 is stellar.

    I hope I did.

It was down to Logan or another DT but Logan's motor was what sold me.

Thanks, I got on and felt very torn between need and BPA on my board. I went with BPA. I took a little bit because of the decisions, so I appologize for taking a little bit there. I think that HOU got a great pick in the second.

The pats got thier target there. I think short is a mid to late first value.

Pats took the other DT I considered....but I prefer Logan's motor. Shorts vanished way too much at times but I like Logan more as a prospect. Could be this year's Kendall Reyes.

    We have a winner.

Short had a great week in Mobile, he's a late Rd 1 pick.

I would have taken for the Bengals, but their D-Line is a strong suit of their team.

I don't see it....Shorts has round 1 potential but my issue is consistency. I saw him kill the Irish O-Line for instance but then there were instances when I'd see him vs lesser talent in the Big 10 not do much.

He seemingly only gets up for big games so maybe that translates well in the NFL but I think that will hurt him come April but that's just my take.

He and Hankins suffer the same type of problems.

His play this past week sealed the deal for me, he was a force in practice.

I love Purdue defensive players, there have been some real good ones over the years.

You are right he needs more consistancy, but the talent is there.

Wilfork, Chandler Jones, and Short on a line together .... Holy hell that would be bad news.

I think senior bowl week gets a little too much emphasis...same with the combine. I mean some of that has meaning but I don't think its the end all be all. Gametape has as much meaning as anything for me.

For instance I was a fool to let Gholston's combine blind me of his lack of heart and effort he showed on the field and he decided to make his name against the hot OT at that time, Jake Long in a game.
