Definitely excited to see some football, even if it's pre-season. btw, has the NFL said when they are going to announce the full regular season schedule? I know last year they did that announcement show (which is stupid...but I watched a bit). Is it before or after the draft?
ha, I'm also a graphic designer (living in NE FL surrounded by JAGS everything) and felt the same way. While the new one is definitely a better illustration, the original has a certain simplistic graphic appeal I prefer in a logo. (actually they were threatened with a lawsuit by Jaguar Motor Co. for their original and changed it... never made a helmet, but there are still some T-shirts around town) I definitely agree on your visual perspective idea though....... anyway artfag stuff aside, I wish the game was here. It would probably be the 1st time I'd ever consider paying for a preseason ticket (although I'm sure plenty of friends would offer them up)

Weren't the Jets the NFL's #1 team in pre-season futility last year? The only team NOT to score a single TD during the entire pre-season!!! Writing was on the wall there.
That was really odd. Usually the preseason means next to nothing as far as what you will get in the regular season. Offenses hold a lot back. Coaches don't show much. Starters don't play much. You are right though. The writing really was on the wall in that case.
