Man this is unbelievable. Never figured that the additions of Leonard and Green would be this big but they have been difference makers on defense. That, and Timmy in the same shape he was five years ago.

    Still not counting my chickens.

the core of this team has four championships, and they have had the best record in the league the previous two seasons.

there is nothing fairy tale about this team being where they are right now.

fairytale shit would be Memphis up 3-0.

I also have to say that Gregg Popovich outdid himself tonight. The starters came out flat and gave up seven turnovers and a 17 point lead halfway through the first quarter.

He pulled all five starters and held them out for the remainder of the quarter.

They responded immediately in the second quarter and ended up taking the lead in the second half.

In years past, he would usually try to let them play through it, especially with a two game lead.

He wants Tim to get that fifth ring. Badly.

Ignoring the fact that your argument makes no sense, Denver had a better home record (38-3)

Watched the highlights, another OT win for SA. Closing the door on the series in Memphis would be huge

Tim Duncan was lethargic most of the night... not surprising because he and his wife are about to get a divorce.

But when the overtime period started, he was vintage Timmy.

Wade got away with his cheap shot.

The league called it a flagrant foul but no suspension. Meaningless.

Come on, no one had the Spurs going to the finals in the preseason. Hell everyone had them losing to the Grizzlies.

And so what if the core won? they last won in 2007....ive been hearing "to old" since 09. Its 2013, who honestly woulda thought the Spurs would return all these years later? I dont even kno what to compare it to.... No team returns 6 years after their prime, it just doesnt happen.

The lone ESPN analyst to do so. 25 picked the Lakers, 9 picked the Thunder, 1 picked the Spurs.

I felt confident in the Spurs because last year was more of a rebuilding year.Kawhi, Green, Splitter were all going to improve and I expected the big 3 to get the same type of play.

Plus Popovich taught em how to play defense again....

Reggie Miller doesn't think Wade's forearm to Stephenson's head was intentional.

He's either a moron or he needs his eyesight checked.

Jr got suspended for the same thing, NBA shoulda pulled the trigger on Wade.

Then again tho, Pacers might want Wade playing because hes not really making an impact yet.

17 point lead with 7 minutes and change left, might want to consider resting the oft-injured Wade
