Tanaka wild tonight and also can't put anyone away. Gets to 0-2 and then grooves pitches.

And JStokes thinks he's convincing anyone he doesn't wear his team gear to the games.

Shout out to Michael Pineda, striking out 16 Orioles in the Yankees win over Baltimore. Most consistent starter for the Yanks so far this season.

A-Rod third player to homer for his 3000th hit

Two others were also former Yankees: Jeter and Boggs

also, both teams had the leadoff guy single in the first and get picked off

Rob Refsnyder's 2nd hit of the game (and his career)........going, going, gone!

Yanks take 2 of 3 in Boston and head into the break up 3 games.

Curious to see what the Yanks do with Refsnyder. Drew is a bum but is experienced and Ryan is expected to return after the break. I'd really like to see Ref inserted as an everyday 2B, but I think they are a little iffy about his glove.

Do the yanks make a big move before the trade deadline?

I saw the tigers are looking to deal price . . .

With Pineda, Tanaka, Price as our top 3 and Eovaldi and CC as the 4/5 we would be golden to make a playoff run.

A-Rod with 3 HR's in Yanks' win over the Twins. Dude never needed steroids, guy is as natural as they come. On another note, fck CC. Dude is such a bum.

CC will at least eat up innings. Not as much as he eats Capn Crunch maybe, but still. He has a role to play.

It's tough for the Yanks to designate CC to Triple A or trade him because his contract is fatter then he is. But if his horrible performances continue and the Yanks are neck and neck in the penant race, they gotta move his ass. Can't trust him out there when a playoff spot is on the line.
