Pats will drop a punkcard on us. Not enough talent to win this game. The Jets just don't beat good teams.

This game just became even bigger. We need to step up in a HUGE way.

The pats are a very tough team to beat at home. While I don't expect a win next week, I'm more encouraged for our home game against them on Thanksgiving, as they haven't played too impressively on the road.

Please oh please I hope we win. To be behind the Dolphins in the division for even 1 week would be embarrassing as hell

Fuck Da Pats. We will be big underdogs and deservedly so, but anything can happen. Shock the world and haters gonna hate.

Really? I'd consider us at least a respectable team ... not great or even REALLY good yet, but solid nonetheless

All of the rage on the pats forums is hilarious. They are complaining about their secondary being in shambles, and Tom Brady not playing up to their expected standards. If the D can come up big, and (big if) IF Sanchez can take advantage of a weak secondary, with our revitalized run game, we have a legitimate shot to win this. I think the most important thing we need to have next week is a good game plan to take advantage of some of the gaping holes the Patriots have. We need to play to their weaknesses and fluster brady just as the Seahawks did today.

It's more you being Miami than the actual quality of your team.

We HAVE to take shots deep. Have to protect long enough to throw it up for Hill and Keller and Kerley. Have to go deep and convert those chances. Also, attack McCorty with Kerley and Hill. Just go after him all day long

I think you guys have a better chance of beating us with big plays through the air, like the Seahawks, than you do of beating us on the ground with Greene. Despite our glaring defensive flaws, our run defense has been consistently very good. We should also be getting Donta Hightower back from injury which will help.

I hate to say it, but I blame Tom Brady for today's loss. He had one of the worst games that I can remember seeing from him. Several poor decisions, and a bunch of throws that were alarmingly inaccurate. I expect that he will play better against the Jets and we will win.

Agreed. I hope our run blocking can remain superb. This will slow down the pace of the game, and neutralize the pass rush. We cannot abandon the run game early on.

For many pats fans, I can imagine that knowing your QB was the reason you lost the game must be a pretty foreign feeling.

It works both ways. It feels shitty knowing he played so poorly by his standards, but OTOH at least you know it is a problem that will fix itself naturally.

Watching more highlights of the SEA/NE game and combining it with other games NE played this year, definitely have to go down the field often and it looks like a lot of time WR beat the NE CBs on 50/50 balls or get a flag

Awesome, it's going to be a battle for the division lead

You know what, i expect a well fought game by our team
as long as it's better than the division lead clash we had last year

Our defense also isn't as good as Seattle's.

Lloyd's injury is an interesting wrinkle. Branch/Welker abused Cromartie last year in New England, hopefully Cromartie can get some revenge. New England won't make it easy for Cro to jam receivers, but that's what he needs to do.

Welker scares the hell out of me, and so do the tight ends. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Here's how we win next week:

RUN THE BALL effectively on 1st and 2nd downs, leaving Mark with manageable 3rd and short all game. Control the ball and keep Brady on the pine. RUN THE BALL.

On defense, STOP THE RUN on early downs and keep Brady in 3rd and long all day, unleashing our pass rush. Pour some hot sauce on Brady early and often, win the game.

Throw in a few Tebow surprises and the games ours.

Stop the run - we cannot let Ridley go off on us
