The way to beat the Titans is trough the air. This is a team that's ranked #23 in Opponents YPA (7.2), #29 in Opponents Passer rating (97.4) and #32 in Opponents Completion Percentage (67.84%). This is a VERY easy team to pass against. With any decent QB, this game shouldn't even be close, but because we have the worst QB in the league this will probably turn into a low scoring ground war ... and that's bad news for us because they have a better RB, a better kicker and a slightly better run defense. If there's ever a game that Rex should allow Sanchez to throw the ball, this is it. If he can't have success against a pass defense THIS bad, he really shouldn't be in the league. Our game plan will probably look like the textbook definition for "trying to win in spite of your QB". When your QB keeps you from devising a game plan to exploit the obvious deficiencies of your opponent, it's time for a new QB.
Im forced to start Greene in fantasy. I could pick up Powell. It worked ok for me last week. It still hurt for the Jets. Where is McNight? I'd like to see all 3 healthy in the backfield.
Andrew luck is much more than a decent QB and that game was very close. It's Chris Johnson that is the scariest. He could break a couple runs
Agree... I love me some Trent richardson, but for 16 mil and 1st rnd draft pick, no thanks. Ill take an Alfred morris or Bryce brown for the league min.
Jake Locker will be harassed. 3 INTs, lose a fumble, sacked 4 times. Defense scores twice, we win 28-10.
Rex Ryan says Keller, Hill, Berry and Bryan Thomas didn’t practice today and will be doubtful for MNF vs Titans
Anyone who can't see a huge Buffalo style win for the Jets is looking at the wrong game. Jet 45 Titans 3
shit going our way today actually scares the shit out of me. I'm afraid the jets wont show up tomorrow. its in their DNA.
Titans 11 giveaways in their last 2 home games. This is not a team that rises to their best ball at home. Got to fluster Locker with 5 rushers. Confuse the shit out of him and don't let him sit in the pocket for a deep ball.
Titans have a very wounded O-Line. This is the game the Jets have to win the battle in the trenches and Coples/Wilk/Pace/McIntyre HAVE TO get to the QB. There's no excuse for this.
Any word on Bryan Thomas? He's been very good at setting the edge against the run.....something of prime importance in stopping Chris Johnson. Wonder how the Jets game plan will b approached on D. i think you have to make a concerted effort to stop Johnson, and make Locker beat you. He does have some good WR options with Britt, Washington, and that rook, but i'd take my chances there. D line has to produce some pass rush and try to force Locker into some turnovers.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...ork-jets-fans-sucked-in-by-afc-playoffs-dream Article is terrible, but Baldinger's break down of the defense in the video pretty good.
