I think I know who your talking about and based on what I read on the Rams message boards most of them were not so high on him. I thought about going there but I have a plan later in the draft to fill that need.

And Deunta Williams too... Whatever happened to that guy?

He was rated like the 2nd Safety last year and didnt even play this year.

Thats the 2nd round guy he was taking about.

He had a pretty bad leg injury and supposedly is looking to get back into the NFL this year via FA.

thats true their defensive guys havent lived up to the hype in the NFL just yet. in fact, i'm struggling to think of a guy besides Nicks (throwing out that rookie texans QB's run) thats found much success at the NFL level recently. Personally I think this guy is gonna plummet on draft weekend. Unless he blows up the combine what he has on tape is going to send him falling down draft boards.

That being said would it really be a problem if the Rams had two pretty good TE's? The guy is a great athlete. Granted he may have benefited from playing with Luck but he grabbed quite a few TD's and was a pretty good deep threat.

yeah Williams is going to try and make a squad next year. I hope Rex gives him a call frankly. We could use all the safety help we can get.

Yeah, but when you play a triple option team, you stack the box and hope they dont throw it

Would be nice if Williams makes it on an NFL roster next year. Would make me taking him in the 3rd or 4th round of the 7 rounder for the Jets look less ridiculous.

Oops I didnt even see him say CB. Just read second rounder and assumed it was Williams since he was highly touted as being the 2nd best Safety. Burney I thought of more as a later round prospect. Supposedly the Rams really like him to be their #2 or #3 next year. Yeah that sounds as bad as it did to me to.

Thats why when I saw the TE pick I preferred CB since they really have none.

Thought so, Burney “shot up” after the Senior Bowl (or East West Shrine Game, not sure) and was supposed to have put him in the 2/3 range and then he goes undrafted. Weird shit happens come draft day.

Burney is only like 5'8'' I think that hurt him far more than what college he attended. I still am baffled by the face he went undrafted, but his size was a major factor in my opinion.

    You're right!

Burney's size hurt his draft stock, last Jan he was considered a 2nd Round player.

Guys, if you team isn't too far off from selecting, please send me your board if you have to leave.

Picks can go quickly, as we saw a short while ago.

Colts offensive line was a mess and I think Sanders is the next best tackle. Didn't love the pick but if you're going to take Luck in the first you have to try your best to keep him upright.
