They will have the same exact schedule except they'll get Denver and Baltimore instead of Pittsburgh and San Diego.
Cupcake schedule?...Most of the other teams are looking at the 8-8, Sanchez-led Jets as the cupcakes...The Jets aren't beating the Texans' D, the 49ers, Seahawks in Seattle, Steelers in Pittsburgh, Pats in New England or at Met Life Stadium...This pathetic franchise is heading back to the basement...
I just hope I don't have to sit through another THRASHING in the GatorBowl/Alltell/Jacksonville Municipal/EverBank Stadium again......... hmy:
all four teams in each division get 14 identical opponents (6 divisional games, 4 against one AFC and 4 against one NFC division). The only two different games are those against the other two AFC divisions in which the first place team plays the first place teams and down the line with the fourth place team playing the fourth place teams Schedule talk is relatively meaningless since this rotation was established years ago. And strength of schedule analyses are an even more moronic thing that the media jackasses engage in -- since this offseason, teams that had the Niners and the Giants had easy strength of schedules and teams that had the Colts had hard strength of schedules
I've always thought about how they did that. Well here goes to another year of #6 seed. Unless Brady gets hurt
Can anyone confirm this? Two of my good friends are Raider fans, we thought they were finally coming back here and then they weren't. EDIT: Jets website shows the Chargers as a 2012 home opponent.
Yup, not to mention that the way things shake out, New England at 13-3 and possible Super Bowl champions get fucking DENVER because they won the division while we'll have to contend with San Diego, who's always dangerous.
That 2012 schedule looks harder than our 2011 schedule. Hopefully we can make moves and actually win our division this year.
Waaaaaay too early to predict anything, but I like our chances. I see 5 really tough games. 49ers, especially if they get Manning. Pittsburgh, both Patriots games, Texans, Seahawks will be doozies. I'm looking forward to the ultimate Schotty grudge match with the Rams. If we lock down our safety unit, however, things could really change in the secondary and take our D to new heights. Hopefully we'll address that RT issue, and we won't have to worry about Mario killing Sanchez.
Only one west coast trip this year. West coast trips have been the downfall of the jets in recent years.
IMHO so far this years version of FB team does not have the talent to support 12-4 nor 11-5 nor 10-6 nor 9-7 nor 8-8 but most likely 4-12 or 5-11
