That guy is full of shit. How is Jeffery good value for the Bears (was projected late 2nd, early 3rd) but Hill is a reach for the Jets (late 1st round grade)? Seriously, relax bro. Hill will be a stud.

well we'd better make our 3rd round pick count, cause there's nothing left after that but 6's and 7's.

Trade up to the bottom of the 2nd to get our RT? I wouldnt be too upset about parting w/ our 5 round pick. We got 6's and 7's to get Punter and depth players.

honestly I have a little more faith in Wayne Hunter and Ducasse now. I know Hunter was god awful last year but before that he was a solid replacement for Woody. Hopefully the offseason will do these two wonders

Gotta hope that Tony's blocking scheme will be a better fit for Vlad. BC's may have been a little too complicated for him.

We should definitely try to trade up for Lamar Miller. Jets seemed to be high on Robert Turbin from Utah St. We might look to take him with one of our last picks.

I'm super hyped for this season.

Our WR core looks real good right now. Hill & Holmes with Kerley in the slot is completely boss.

People need to pull their skirts up that have a problem with either of our picks so far. I'm thrilled with what we have done thus far.

All you idiots complaining need to go take a chill pill and logically think about things.

We've filled two holes now on our squad and I'm guessing we will go OL in the third round now but I'm just hoping BPA.

I'm loving this, people will be sleeping on us this season. We've got a ridiculously deep DL with some young studs & will be able to keep everyone fresh and ready to roll with a young great WR core also. Our defence will be better this season.

Roll on our next pick, god I love the Jets!!!

I think someone hacked Mambo9 account, I have never seen Mambo go off the deep end.

So who would the Jets consider with the 3rd rounder?

  20. I said acouple weeks before the draft that Hill was a perfect fit for the Jets offense. Size & frame to come back to the football when Sanchez improvises and throws one up for grabs, & electrifying speed over the top. That is EXACTLY what the Jets needed in the passing game.

You wanna talk about a perfect fit?He comes from a run heavy offense where he learned to make the most of limited opportunities with balls thrown his way & also learned to be a very good blocker(This translates well to the ground & pound).Additionally he is accustomed to option football, which adds skills that correlate with the wildcat.Want more?Jets new WR coach Linjay Sal comes from Oakland where the Raiders make a living out of taking Height/weight/speed types like Hill in the draft. Hence not only does Sal know what to look for in this regard, he also knows how to develop the talent.

This is a GREAT pick. In a perfect world do you not trade up? Sure. But this is a slam dunk value/need/fit wise.
