has there ever been a team w/ more good fortune? 2 fluky SB runs 5 years apart and now after starting 0-6 everything is falling into place w/ the opponents and weak division. if it sounds like I am jealous it is b/c I am. I wish we had one fluky win.
it is the truth man....this happens to them a lot. Even the year the Ravens crushed them in the Super Bowl. They were mediocre that year at best but somehow fell into having home field for the NFC championship. They will wind up winning the Division at 8-8. They got the Viking with Freeman, The Eagles with Barkley....they'll get Packers with no Rogers. you know they'll beat the Cowboys at home somehow.
Not accurate. Francesa gets local ratings only except for YES which only gets ratings for baseball broadcasts Olbermann on National TV gets 10 times the highest number of people that the fat lunkhead has ever gotten
He's just trying to bait Jet fans He passed a few comments about how the Jets fans wish the Giants would've lost yesterday also. Its not worth it any more. The league is down and the Jets have a good D It could take them somewhere. The Jets have to pile up some wins and make the play-offs. At that point, the issue of who is better could take care of itself
And the amazing thing about that statement is that the Giants are on the edge of getting broken up for a gut rehab and the Jets have 11+ picks next year and one of the youngest teams in the league. Just amazing how tunnel visioned a fan can get and Francesa is a big Giants fan.
I think he's talking about this year not long term and amazingly the Giants are a game back in the L column for 1st place.
true but a quick look at their schedule pretty much confirms that they play their fourth third string quality QB next week against GB (Freeman, Barkley, Pryor and now Poindexter or whatever that is) --- of cause only the Jedz are lucky, youse knows) after that they have an excellent chance of losing ALL six of their remaining six games for a solid 4-12 record... "wid juzt a liddle bit uf lug, the Joyants wudda been right in dis ding"
Couple a more years and Brady will be done. Hopefully the Jets can keep the core of the D together that long.
