This is going to be a good game. And we're going to win, because we have a better QB, especially in close games. Jets 24 Ravens 23

I think the key to this game will be neutralizing the Ravens blitz by playing the short passing game, Sanchez needs to be lights out though, The Ravens will blitz big time and we have to make them take a step back and play coverage, our offensive line can handle a 5 man rush or less, In all three games the oline looked better when the teams we played dropped back into coverage. We need to do it like we did to the Titans in '08 with Favre, make them pay hard for blitzing. We have the receivers to pull it off very well, it all comes down to Sanchez not getting all his passes batted down, or trying to force it into triple coverage. Well it's harder then it sounds either way, but I think it's our best shot, I feel that the Ravens will blitz more than they should, we need to take advantage of it.

Seriously laughing my Ass off that some here have the illusion that Sanchez is better then Flacco. That's absolutely comical.

I love all the negativity and the people claiming we have no chance. For some odd reason, it always works in out favor. So keep it coming! :D

Agreed. I know for sure he unleashed hell. He looked absolutely livid after the game. They know they made stupid stupid mistakes, but I can promise you it won't be happening again.

Instead of opinion vs. opinion, lets point out the Post Season Stats.

    Joe Flacco

    2008 Playoffs: 2-1 w/ 437 yards, 1 TD and 3 Int. and a 50.8 Rating
    2009 Playoffs: 1-1 w/ 223 yards, 0 TD and 3 Int. and a 39.4 Rating
    2010 Playoffs: 1-1 w/ 390 yards, 3 TD and 1 Int. and a 90.0 Rating

    Totals: 4-3 w/ 1050 Yards, 4 TD and 7 Int. and a 60.06 Rating

    Mark Sanchez

    2009 Playoffs: 2-1 w/ 539 Yards, 4 TD and 2 Int. and a 92.7 Rating
    2010 Playoffs: 2-1 w/ 616 Yards, 5 TD and 1 Int. and a 95.5 Rating

    Totals: 4-2 w/ 1155 Yards, 9 TD and 3 Int. and a 94.1 Rating

Let's just say Mark may struggle some times, but when it comes time to bite down and perform, he just does.

And this is what drives the "Sanchez is better than Flacco" debate. Flacco shit his pant in the playoffs. Sanchez has yet to be the reason why the Jets have lost a playoff game in his 2 years as the QB. When Sanchez fucks up and loses in January, and its not his defense that is hemorrhaging points, then he can be blamed.

Not to mention Joe Flacco is 2 years older and has an extra year of NFL experience than Sanchez.

And he started more games in college.

And he's had equal running games and defenses.

Football is a game of intangibles, and maybe 2% of the fans understand that.

Does anyone have an eyebrow count for Flacco this season? Is it still 1?

And if we lose to the Pats we have a losing record adding salt to that wound.

Neither guys is an elite QB. Flacco has a better arm, but that's about it. I'll take my guy Sanchez everyday of the week. I just have faith in him at the end of games. People look at numbers and just assume.

For instance, this past week was actually, in my opinion, not one of his better games. Yet, you look at the #s and he put up the most yards in his career.

I think 1 PAC 10 start equals all starts at Delware.

    I do not believe so.

I know of a number of instances where two quarterbacks exited games with injuries, but not three. One such game was the Body Bag Game. Washington QBs Jeff Rutledge and Stan Humphries were knocked out. RB/KR Brian Mitchell finished the game at QB. Mark Rypien did not play due to an injury he sustained prior to that game.
