Either someone on here was at camp yesterday or it was on Twitter, but I remember hearing that he was impressing thus far in camp.
I don't think Lowery is going to be part of any type of long term plan. IMO he's just not a good enough player, he doesn't do anything very well. At cornerback he likes the speed and at safety he's playing a new position and he lacks awareness. He doesn't have the size to cover tight ends. He's like a tweener in basketball.
I think the exact opposite. After a few games at S last year Lowery really helped out a great deal. Apparently he put on about 15-20 pounds of muscle now. So we'll see. If Pool doesn't comeback I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him start.
Ed and Troy are both 5'10 - 5'11. Dwight is 5'11 Eric Smith is 6'1 Jim Leonhard is the shortie, at 5' 8
Was there an article or something about Lowery bulking up ? Thats the first I heard of this. Unless youre confusing Lowery with Eric Smith (who im pretty sure he was the guy who bulked up)
Smith also bulked up, there was someone at camp who reported it as well. EDIT** I'm searching now, one of the beat writers tweeted the first day about Lowery's appearance. Apologies it was a blogger/another forum site runner who posted it but this was it. "Anyone notice the size Dwight Lowery put on? Dude is looking like a machine. I bet he's gonna push for the FS. Not so fast smitty!"
I didn't, so you can just relaaaax...found it on google images when I typed in "Plaxico Jets". Jeeesus.
BrianCoz Shaun Ellis' agent said #Jets want him back at the minimum. He's contemplating. wtf is goin on with this guy? must have a better offer.
Jets are so freakin classey. Tannenbaum saying that Ellis is the longest tenured Jet and that's important to him when negotiating with Shaun. Yeah sure.
He'll probably end up with a little bit more. The Jets apparently want to bring back Braylon at the minimum, too.
What the fuck does the post you quoted have to do with signing a convict? As far as I know Ellis' only legal troubles has been throwing a snow ball.
Todays NFL is just not a place where you will have a lot of "lifers" on the team anymore. It's a business. I want Ellis back. I'd love for him win a ring with us. If he doesn't return, you can't fault him for wanting more $$, just like you can't fault the Jets for putting the best possible team on the field that they can within the confines of the cap, even if it doesn't include him.
