Damn Eagles sign Jarrad Page for 1 yr... another guy I would've liked in Green&White... oh well, I guess the CS feels we're ok with Leonhard, Cook, Smith, Lowery + maybe Ihedigbo.
brodney pool wants more money than he is worth, from what i have heard. i think tanny wants to make a play on something bigger than tying his money up there. i hope its osi but we shall see
With the limited safeties available, I agree to some extent. Pool stepped his game up a bit at the end of the season last year, but to me he often looked lost in coverage schemes. I won't shed a tear if he does not return, BUT who the hell is there? At least Pool has some kind of grasp of the playbook
Without wanting to derail this thread, I'm in 2 minds about Osi. Hes NOT a 34 DE, but if anyone can help him make the transition its Rex and Pettine. Look what they did with the sack of Poo that was Gholston, they moved him inside and actually got some production.
So does anyone think this team is better for the few signings and the even bigger losses than the team that has lost the last two years in the playoffs?
The unknown is Sanchez. If he is better and I think he will be then yes, the team is probably better. Don't forget they still have a couple more pieces to add and everybody that counts says they plan to add them.
Hunter was solid, we didn't miss a beat when he filled. Did he also play under C for a few snaps as well??
Brad Smith Replacing a solid player in Edwards with a guy who has been in jail 2 years Someone to replace Woody on the OL Possibly Ellis (a solid contributer) Those may not be BIG losses but losses none the less
