Hard to tell. All of their wins are against teams from the AFC West and NFC West, the two worst divisions in football. If they beat Pittsburgh, Miami, or Indianapolis that will show more, but I picked them to win between 7 and 9 games because of their easy schedule, so none of this is any big surprise to me. It's also good for the Jets, since the Pats apparently won't be getting a very high draft choice, which I'm sure they were expecting when they made the trade.
Michaels is wrong. That penalty did take them out of FG range, because they were at the PIT 31. That's a 49 yarder, not a 54 yarder as Michaels claimed. Jones grabbed Polamalu's jersey after Polamalu hit him after the pass was falling incomplete.
What is it with coordinators continuing to not put a spy on roethlisberger? Everytime he steps up its either an 8+ yard run or a 15 yard pass play.
Pushoff? Thats a horrible call, but im rooting against Pitt anyway so I dont care. Awful call though.
Will Smith nearly slugged a ref in the gut when he was doing his emphatic fist swing after they stuffed a Steelers run. steelers fumbled on the kickoff after a saints fg, but it was recovered by another steeler, a player who had gotten injured in the first quarter (Isaac Redman).
38 yard TD for Mendenhall Steelers score in 2:07. It took a long time for the first TD, but the second follows quickly on its heels. 13-10
corner blitz catches Brees unawares, and McFadden gets the sack-strip Saints were in FG range, too. Steelers take over.
Heath Miller coughs it up after a big gain!!!!! Saints get it back. two quick TDs followed by two quick lost fumbles.
