So...Cable decides to try for three on third down...to get two chances just in case.. BUT RUNS THE CLOCK DOWN TO FOUR SECONDS?!?!?!?!??!
How bizarre - Rivers is waiting to see if the officials will call intentional grounding and takes a delay of game penalty!
Earl Thomas with a dumbass move. Knock it down, don't pick it off and try to return it. But he doesn't fumble, and Seattle wins.
You don't get 2 chances at it if the kicker misses a FG. You kick on 3rd down just in case there's a flubbed snap. Running the clock down to 4 seconds did nothing to the Raiders in this situation.
Right ..flubbed snap...4 seconds. Game over. Duh. You need 8-10 seconds in case the snap goes awray. It only made no difference because he missed. A bad snap, and Cable would be rightfully unemployed. You make so many comments about me...but gee whiz..this is so far beyond elementary that you probably need to repeat Mrs.Smiths second grade math.
I have him in one league and opposed him in another. In both of my leagues I have the most scored upon team. I catch zero breaks in fantasy football these days. I mean, none. I didn't even plan on playing this year until my boss asked if I wanted to join his money league. Turns out I wasted my money. I have point totals that should have me at 2-1, but nasty, nasty luck has my team at 0-3.
http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth/post/_/id/16996/tommie-harris-inactive CHICAGO -- We have a major pregame surprise here at Soldier Field. The Chicago Bears have deactivated defensive tackle Tommie Harris for Monday night's game against the Green Bay Packers. Harris has suffered from knee injuries in recent years but was not on the injury report this week. That means this is a coaching decision, and a surprising one. Harris has only one tackle in two games this season but has been considered a central part of their nucleus. Third-year player Matt Toeaina will start in his place. The Bears also deactivated receiver Devin Aromashodu. Meanwhile, the Packers have left tackle Chad Clifton active and did not announce a change in their starting offense, so we're assuming Clifton will start with Daryn Colledge at left guard. Rookie Bryan Bulaga will probably play in some capacity, however. Linebacker Brad Jones is inactive, and rookie Frank Zombo could start in his place.
Cutler did not play well in the first half, but led a drive in the final 2 minutes for a TD. 10-7 GB, 26 seconds to halftime. GB likely to take a knee.
Cutler connects with Bennett on 3rd down down to the 1. 4th and goal, Chicago apparently going for it, down 10-7 first they're going to challenge the spot, but I think they'll lose that. Not a good challenge. I would support going for it in this situation.
