Jesus packers are ruining my bets and now rodgers is out!! more beer. btw that geiko ad with the guy out of full metal is fucking funny imo
That's at least the third time that the Bengals have dropped easy INTs. Steelers lead 10-7 as a result.
Landon Johnson hit him and caused Rodgers' head to hit the turf. It was the type of play that would cause a concussion. Rodgers stayed in the game for a few more plays. I switched to another game and when I came back Flynn was in.
Rodgers' head slammed the turf hard. I don't think he can come back into the game with the new rules, right?
Even with crappy Stanton playing and even if Rodgers was to play the whole game, my handicapping system (11-6 so far on the year) pointed to a likelihood that Green Bay would not be able to cover the spread. It also caused me to take Oakland. Under my old way of picking against the spread (bias, hunches, stupidity, etc.) I would have taken Jacksonville and I'd be pissed right now because the Raiders are up 17-7 and are getting 4 or 4.5. The only game that had a bizarre line was Atlanta-Carolina. If Atlanta was favored by 17.5 I would have taken them. At 18, I would have had to take Carolina. Since the actual line was only 7, it was a no-brainer to take Atlanta. Halftime score: Atlanta 17, Carolina 0.
The Raiders are playing some good football these last few weeks. The AFC West is definitely up in th air. I still think San Diego will pull something off and win it, but Oakland has a great shot at it with games against Denver and Kansas City still on the schedule. The Chiefs will most likely lose today with Brodie Croyle starting at QB against San Diego. They still have games at St. Louis, Tennessee, and Oakland. There's a definite possibility that they could lose out.
Only the St. Louis game is on the road. Tennessee winning at KC? I don't see that happening. Before the season started I thought SD would win the division by 1 game over KC. That is now unlikely. If SD wins the division it'd probably be due to holding a tie-breaker advantage over KC. Both could get to 9-7 or 10-6.
