Ok so my Packers draft is done, I can only take credit for the last 2 picks but how do you guys think it is overall? GREEN BAY PACKERS, Wolfe Tone/ 624 Rd 1 Everson Griffen, DE/OLB, USC Rd 2 Toby Gerhart, RB, Stanford Rd 3 Amari Spievey, CB, Iowa Rd 4 Zane Beadles, OG, Utah Rd 5 Tony Washington, OT, Abilene Christian Rd 6 CJ Wilson, DE, E. Carolina Rd 7 Cody Grimm, S/LB, Virginia Tech
My Saints are now done...I'd love some feedback for my first ever team. Rd 1 Brian Price, DT, UCLA Rd 2 Navorro Bowman, LB, Penn St. Rd 3 Jermaine Cunningham, DE, Florida Rd 4 AJ Jefferson, CB,Fresno St. Rd 5 John Estes, C, Hawaii Rd 7 Bill Stull, QB, Pittsburgh
Thanks brickwall for the 2 picks. As shown by both Jam and Brickwall and with former noobs in DHarris(Last year), really anyone and everyone can be active in this and really play a key role as to this getting done. I was in the same shoes for the 07 draft as I replaced someone for the Saints and Panthers and landed some killer picks(Had both Reggie Nelson and David Harris as the Panthers first picks). Just because you don't get a break right away, there will always be some GM who gets the boot/is unable to be reached so the guys on the waiting list have a crucial role of being ready to step in and make the picks. The new guys have meant tons to the great 7 round mock draft ran by WW85 every year and I have said it once before and can say it again. The reason I visit this site so much is because of the yearly draft. Best ran 7 round mock draft on all sites IMO.
Hahah Jetfanmack..I almost went with a safety instead of Stull too, just couldn't pass on a QB with his production in a pro style offense
I wish I knew enough about the draft to grade teams right now. I like my Chargers' draft. 1 (28) CB Kareem Jackson, Alabama 2 (40) WR Arrelious Benn, Illinois 3 (91) RB Jonathan Dwyer, Georgia Tech 4 (126) DL D'Anthony Smith, Louisiana Tech 5 (159) DE Austen Lane, Murray State 5 (168) OT Derek Hardman, Eastern Kentucky 7 (235) S Ross Ventrone, Villanova Got my skill position guys early (wasn't necessarily my plan, was just following the board), and then tried to fortify the lines. I don't know a lot about the 7th round prospects left, but Ventrone was a good player for the #1 team in the FCS who showed very good athleticism at his Pro Day, so why the hell not.
The Titan's draft is in the books: Rd 1 Jason Pierre Paul, DE/OLB, South Florida Rd 3 Major Wright S, Florida Rd 3 JD Walton, C, Baylor Rd 4 Jimmy Graham, TE, Miami Rd 5 Donald Butler, ILB Washington Rd 6 Rennie Curran, OLB Georgia Rd 6 Jonathan Crompton, QB Tennessee Rd 7 Brandon Deaderick, DT / DE, Alabama Rd 7 Keith Toston, RB, Oklahoma State I was really happy with the value I got in the first six rounds. I thought the talent thinned out a bit at the end as you guys tooks some of the players I was hoping to sneak past you. Thanks again to WW85 for running a tight ship and making a very good pick for me in JD Walton. So how did you guys think I did?
Overall...a solid draft. Green Bay missed out on Brandon Graham by 1 pick. I probably would have gone OT in RD 1....with Campbell, Davis & Brown all available. I'm not as high on Griffen playing in a 3-4, I like him as a 4-3 end. Don't get me wrong, I love Griffen, he's a hellva an athletic player with ton's of potential. I just see Griffen fitting in with a team like Philly better. Spievey is underrated and will help their secondary. CJ Wilson...very good value late in the draft. 624...thanks for being a great newbie..excellent job, look forward to you being a GM next year.
Rd 1 Dan Williams, NT, Tennessee Rd 2 Corey Wootton, DE, Northwestern Rd 3 Matt Tennant, C, Boston College Rd 4 Jeremy Williams, WR, Tulane Rd 6 Van Eskridge, S, East Carolina Rd 7 Cameron Sheffield OLB/DE Troy Honestly, I had a shitty draft. I found their were a bunch of guys who I wanted and then got picked right before I wanted them. I like getting Jeremy Williams in the 4th, but thats about it
IMPORTANT Joe Hawley was drafted twice in RD 7...Giants & Minny. BakerMaker needs to re-pick...unless someone, may the brickwall423, has Baker's board. Minny needs to re-pick!! PM sent.
IMPORTANT Guys check your selections made by Team thread....make sure I have your players correct for your Team(s). So if you guys want to grade the drafts..everyting is accurate. Thanks!!

I addressed all their needs and didn't do any reaching. Posted to a few Falcons fans too, they loved it as well.
