My Cleveland Browns are done. They had a shitload of picks. IMO, the Browns may trade up or trade some picks for the 2011 draft. CLEVELAND BROWNS, WW85 Rd 1 Joe Haden, CB, Florida Rd 2 Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida Rd 3 Damian Williams, WR, USC Rd 3 Morgan Burnett, FS, Georgia Tech Rd 3 John Jerry, OG, Ole' Miss Rd 4 Jason Worilds, DE/OLB, Virginia Tech Rd 5 Dennis Pitta, TE, BYU Rd 5 Pat Angerer, ILB, Iowa Rd 5 Antonio Coleman, OLB, Auburn Rd 5 Joique Bell, RB, Wayne State Rd 6 Jay Ross, NT, E. Carolina Rd 6 Mike Tepper, OT, California My Take: I may regret passing up Eric Berry, but I felt the potential for a shutdown corner was too good to pass. I was happy to get Burnett in Rd 3. Haden/Burnett may be a better combo than Berry/McCourty or Cox........which would have been my option in drafting Berry. Browns need a 3-4 DE and Dunlap may be the perfect fit for Mangini. Pitta had a great combine and looks like a decent weapon in the receiving game. Bell would be a nice compliment and a good size back. Ross...depth on the D-line Browns need some OT depth and Tepper could play RT & LT. Williams was a great pick in rd 3. Some GMs let DW slip thru their fingers. Jerry would be a solid Guard between Thomas and Mack. Worlids and Coleman will be some good players off the edge. IMO, I got terrific value with almost every pick...no reaches.
I really like what you did for the Browns in this draft. Good thing you weren't drafting for one of our AFCE rivals.
The first 7 picks could all be starters to start the year for the Browns... can't get any better than that. Excellent draft WW.
