You gotta assume the defensive CS has a rather large role in mind for either Gholston or Westerman. One of them has to step up. They would have went end if they didn't feel that way.

OH and 36 yr old ellis is gonna play with one hand like he did in the colts game...That was terrible last year because we had no depth at DE or DT...

    Here come the tears.

Ellis is not 36 years old. Get your facts straight.

Why the hell would Leon get cut? That's absolutely retarded.

We kept 4 QBs and 3 HBs last season, plus Woodhead. It's certainly not out of line to think that we'd just keep 3 QBs and 4 HBs this season in a worst case scenario.

He is one shifty SOB. From that vid he is a tough runner who keeps churning those legs and is not afraid of contact, love it.

It appears we are going to trade an older and broken Leon for a younger fresher poor man's version of Leon.

Why can't Washington pass a physical? Has he taken one and failed it?

Very suspect blocker and really was nicked up with injuries. Also was a massive, massive underachiever.

He has a huge ceiling but I don't know if he can ever unlock it. Maybe the "USC is lazy" title may fit in here but McKnight never ever impressed me outside of just being a Irish killer throughout the years.

So, you would make a trader mid season, where values of active players is much, much higher or try to scrape the bottom of the barrel for talent instead of addressing it with a player the staff thinks is worth trading up for?

The more I think about it, the more I am disappointed with the selection of McKnight. We could have bulstered out pass rush with Sapp or upgraded our DL with Thomas, instead we add another RB to the back field. Hopefully we can trade Leon and get a good pick back, but I just have not seen a lot of value in player trades for picks this year, not sure if we are going to get better then a 6th for him!

Shit. I really need to get some more sleep...

As for the real Texans' pick: another TE not named Dorin Dickerson.
